Christine raised her eyebrows. Her voice was deep and filled with disdain. “You want to eat a chicken drumstick too? That one will be yours.” 

Chloe paused, and a complicated expression appeared on her face. 

Of course, Chloe wanted to eat Duncan’s drumsticks, but she was teaching Christine a lesson now. 

“Nancy, we’re all women. Let me give you a piece of advice. Don’t be too arrogant and trample on Dr. Foster’s sincerity for you.” 

Christine narrowed her charming eyes and said in a low voice, “Are you defending Dr. Foster now? But you had better ask him if he needs first.” 

Chloe turned around and realized that Duncan only had eyes for Nancy. He did not even look at Chloe. In an instant, Chloc seemed to have become a clown.
