The Regretful Ex-wife by Iced Coffee

Chapter 24

Chapter 0024

Trevor took a step forward.

His black armor glistened under the light, making him look more threatening and oppressive.

“D-Don’t come near me!” Tina yelled, her face ashen.

“Slap her on the mouth!”

Trevor had a stern look on his face. Two of his subordinates held

Tina down as he raised his hand in the air and slapped Tina squarely on the cheek.

Slap!

The slap was so hard and powerful that the corner of Tina’s lips split at once. Blood started pouring out of the wound as her wedding veil fell to the ground. Her hair was a mess as well.

The entire hall went so quiet that one could hear a pin drop. Everyone watched with bated breath.

Nobody dared to say anything or speak up for anyone, let alone run up to stop them.

After all, this was an order from Diego himself!

Wayne was so terrified that he got a cramp in both his legs..

Meanwhile, Patricia also didn’t dare to make a sound as she watched

her daughter being slapped.

They just couldn’t understand. Why did Diego refer to Sean, that useless fucker, as “Sire”?

“Who… Who gave you the right to hit me?”

Tina had just recollected her wits from the massive slap just now. She glared at Trevor and then at Diego.

Growing up, she had never once been slapped or humiliated like this. in her entire life.

“You deserved it,” Diego replied nonchalantly.

“I deserved it?”

Tina was shocked at first. Then, she burst out in laughter. She laughed loud and hard like she’d just lost her mind. “Hahaha! Mr. Black, how dare you say that I deserved to be hit? I did nothing wrong. And I spent a lot of money to have my wedding here at The Mirage.

“So, how dare you say that I deserved to be hit?”

The guests all gasped in disbelief. Was this woman out of her mind? What made her think she could go against Diego like this?

“Tina, please, just stop talking!” Wayne begged from the side. He was so frightened that he felt he was about to wet his pants.

“Why? Why do you want me to stop talking? I won’t stop! I’m going to keep talking! And I’ll never stop because I’m not satisfied with any of this!”

Tina’s voice grew sharper and more shrill with each word. Her tempe had flared up.

She glared at Diego and spoke with hatred and dissatisfaction in her voice. “Mr. Black, I know that you’re a respectable man, and

commoners like us could never win against you.

‘But that fucker of an ex-husband over there is full of hatred and wants nothing but revenge on me! That’s why he sneaked into my wedding and ruined it! How dare you tell them to hit me instead?

“Everyone here can be my witness!” Tina screamed.

“We saw nothing!”

The wedding guests were all aghast. What the fuck was this woman thinking? Was she trying to drag them all down with her?

“You weak, pathetic chickens! You’re all spineless and useless like that fucker over there! You only know how to suck up to rich-ass people!” Tina screamed at her guests, completely losing it.

Her guests hadn’t behaved like this when Wayne held the power just

now!

“What did you just call us?”

“Who are you calling a chicken?”

“You were the one who dreamed up everything on your own! None of us ever saw Mr. Lakeworth making a scene anywhere!”

“Mr. Black, please continue hitting that bitch for us! Hit her to death!”

Tina’s words offended everyone in the crowd at once.

Diego looked at the stubborn woman and his eyes turned icier than ever. “Commander Chase, don’t stop!”

“Yes, sir!”

Trevor did as he was told and continued to slap Tina in the mouth.

Slap! Slap! Slap!

Each slap was harder and fiercer than the last. They all landed squarely on Tina’s mouth.

Meanwhile, Tina’s face was reduced to a bloody mess. She was slapped so hard that she nearly passed out.

Everyone in the hall watched in satisfaction as the fire in their chests gradually died down with each slap. However, Wayne, Patricia, and

Justin dared not rush up to help Tina in any way.

Only Cecilia felt sorry for Tina. She stepped up and started begging for mercy. Her voice was shaky as she said, “M-Mr. Black! Tina didn’t mean to speak so rudely to you. Please have mercy on her and let her go! I believe that she won’t dare to repeat the same mistake next time!

Diego ignored her completely.

“That’s enough,” Sean said, suddenly speaking up.

It was only because of Cecilia.

“Stop!” Diego ordered, raising his hand at the Commander.

Gasp!

Everyone was shocked.

“T-Thank you,” Cecilia said, glancing gratefully at Sean. Then, she ran over to Tina and said, “Tina, Mr. Black has forgiven you. Come on, let’s get out of here.”

“Leave me alone! I’m not leaving this place today, no matter what!”

Tina shoved Cecilia away and glared at Diego with reddened eyes. She still insisted on an explanation. “I did nothing wrong! Why did deserve to be hit?”

“That woman is batshit crazy!” the people in the crowd exclaimed.

Diego’s eyes darkened. “You said that you did nothing wrong? You were rude and disrespectful, and you slandered and insulted Sire. And yet, you still insist that you did nothing wrong?”

“I did not slander him! He was the one who came here and ruined my wedding!” Tina screamed at Diego at the top of her lungs.

“That’s enough!” Diego roared back at her. “As of now, you’re still

trying to argue with me, aren’t you? Did you think I knew nothing of the incident? And did you really think I wouldn’t check the security

footage?”

Diego’s words were enough to make Tina shut up. Her temper dissipated immediately. Her eyes also returned to normal.

That was right, she thought, how could she forget? Mr. Black could always check the security footage whenever he wanted.

“Got nothing to say for yourself anymore?”

Diego laughed coldly and waved his hand in the air. “Throw her and her entire family out. I never want to see their faces again!”

“Yes, sir!”

Trevor then raised his hand and beckoned a few soldiers over to surround Tina and her family. Then, they dragged them out of the place.

This time, Tina had a look of defeat on her face. She didn’t put up a fight anymore.

Splish! Splash!

Loud splashes were heard, one after another. Tina and her family members were all thrown overboard,

Everyone left in the hall felt themselves shivering in awe. It was deathly quiet in the banquet hall.

Cecilia looked at Sean. The rest of the wedding guests also looked at both Sean and Diego. They all wanted to know what their true

relationship was!
