Chapter 18
Chapter 0018
“Damn it, Cecilia Worthington! Why did you overthink things? Mr. Lakeworth was just trying to maintain a lively atmosphere by cracking a joke or two!”
She then put her phone away to get ready for bed. However, Sean’s words kept her up all night..
It was a fitful night for her.
Meanwhile, Sean was also similarly unable to fall asleep. He was wondering how he would explain his relationship with Tina to Cecília
in the future.
Time passed quickly. Three days passed in the blink of an eye.
It was a huge day for the whole of Skye City today. The most luxurious cruise ship in the world, The Mirage, was docking at Skye. City Harbor!
Four trained soldiers stood at the entrance to the ship. They stood tall and straight as they checked each and every visitor who entered the ship.
There were a total of 21 floors on the ship. Each floor was decked ou in the most luxurious and exquisite decorations ever seen.
It was particularly busy and lively in the sixth-floor banquet hall. Wayne’s and Tina’s wedding was being held here.
Plenty of businessmen and notable millionaires were all here to send their well-wishes to the couple. But, they weren’t here just because of Wayne. These businessmen and millionaires were told that Diego would be here to give the newlyweds his blessings, and they all

wanted to be a part of it!
After all, he was the richest and wealthiest man in the world. If they were lucky, they might even be able to catch a glimpse of this mysterious man that Diego was welcoming onboard!
At that moment, Sean reached the cruise ship entrance dressed in simple clothing.
He stared up at the familiar white cruise ship and fell into thought.
This ship had accompanied him for a good seven years of his life. It had taken him all across the oceans on his business dealings and ventures that helped him build his business empire as it was today.
He was about to enter when he suddenly heard a shrill scream from behind him.
“Sean Lakeworth? What the hell are you doing here?”
The sudden familiar voice caused Sean to halt in his footsteps. He turned around and found himself face to face with a scowling
Patricia.
Justin was right next to her with his arm in a cast. His face was also as black as thunder.
“Is there a rule that prohibits me from coming here?” Sean asked wit a raised eyebrow. He looked at Patricia and asked, “And what are yo doing here?”
“Ha!”
Patricia sneered and looked proudly at Sean, saying, “We’re here because my daughter’s wedding is being held here. What about you?”
“I’m just here for a stroll,” Sean answered faintly.
“For a stroll? What do you think this place is, the farmer’s market? I saw you lurking around the cruise ship entrance for a long time-like

you’re up to no good. You must be thinking of a way to sneak in and ruin my daughter’s wedding!”
“Sorry, I have no interest whatsoever in her wedding.”

“Fucking bullshit!” Patricia screamed.
,”Mom, why are we even wasting time talking to him? He can’t even
get in to ruin Tina’s wedding if he wanted to.”
Justin spoke up and continued talking condescendingly to Sean.” You’ll have to have the cruise ship owner’s permission or Tina’s wedding invitation to even get onto the ship. Did you think it was like a common ship where you could just buy a ticket to get on it?”
“You’re right, Justin!” Patricia agreed. “So, his plans would all be in vain!”
“Exactly, Mom.” Justin snickered smugly.
This bastard had broken his arm the last time. He was going to make sure that Sean would be thoroughly humiliated this time!
“Are you done yapping? If so, then get out of my way. I’m boarding the ship,” Sean replied indifferently.
Justin’s face darkened. He didn’t like that what he said didn’t seem to affect Sean at all. He gritted his teeth and said, “You’re nothing but a useless fucker who relies on my sister all the time, and yet, you’re still trying to save your ego?
“Let’s see how you’re going to board the ship without a wedding invitation!”
“Well then, open your eyes wide and watch me,” Sean said, before turning around and walking toward the entrance to the ship.
He didn’t want to continue wasting time on people like them anymore. He was out of their league
