The Prodigy Antaris - a secret World of magic #1

Chapter 7

And while I was sitting on Eyon's back, I felt so free.

This animal is Avery's soulmate, his animal half, his most faithful friend and the most beautiful creature my eyes have ever seen. The grace and elegance with which this animal moved seemed like a fairy tale.

We headed towards the coast which was close and while I was sitting on Eyon's back I enjoyed the view of the beautiful Antaris. Leaning my back against Avery's chest, I was in awe of the beauty this place has.

And while Ava, I and Avery were riding, the others flew in front of us.

I felt excited, a little because of meeting my brother... and a little more because of Avery's closeness. He held me securely with one hand while he held himself to his amicus with the other.

"How do you like riding a unicorn, my Love?" Avery asked softly as his face was so close to mine.

For a moment I forgot to talk looking at his beautiful face. He was so perfect, in every way... his every movement, every act of attention and compassion, every word only made him even more attractive.

"Perfect..this is perfect" I stammered.

Eyon, as if proud of my words, started galloping even faster, which led to me clinging to Avery even more.I smelled his musky scent that reminded me of rosewood and sawdust. Every movement of his body excited me more and more, and the warmth I felt in my chest made me happy. I was intoxicated by his closeness and the incredible attraction he had for me. The place where my hands touched his skin was hot. And as if he sensed it, he held me close as Eyon carried us across the fields of Antaris.

We soon reached the coast and as we approached the others I wondered how we would even get to that island.

"Don't worry iris we have these two forest elves for that." Jade said as we stopped directly in front of them.

"We are going ahead and you are holding our pace so that you do not fall into the Sea," said Noah.

And in an instant they all got on their birds and started flying towards the open sea. I saw Noah and Elian light up green and behind them a bridge of green flowers and wild roots was created.

Avery and Ava pointed their unicorns at that bridge and followed their friends at the same speed. As we raced across the bridge, I saw an island in the distance that was getting closer with every step.

"Who is the first on the other side? Let's see who is the better rider of the two of us!" Ava exclaimed with a laugh.

Mermaids swam next to us jumping out of the water and greeting us. Huge fish that looked like winged tigers followed them as they had fun and cheered us on in our race. Two steps before us, Ava reached the island first.

She jumped from her unicorn and raised her hands and shouted joyfully at her" Gea we won!"

While Ava and Gea were celebrating their victory, Avery got off Eyon. He held out both hands to help me down and I happily fell into his arms. He gently took me in his arms and lowered me to the ground. I had the feeling that my knees would fail if he didn't hold me at this moment. And while we stood looking at each other like that, there was silence around us. It was as if the whole world stopped and only this moment was real.

"Awkwaaard..get a room!" Ava said with a laugh as the others laughed loudly with her.

I took a step back embarrassed by the scene they had but Avery stopped me. He brought me back to the position we were standing in with his arm around my waist.

"Don't run away from me because of embarrassment, my Love. You are exactly where you need to be," said Avery, looking me in the eyes.

He took my hand and started towards the others who were already in front of us.

"This is Bellatorum Island, there are currently about 100 warriors in training on it. Your brother teaches and shares knowledge with 20 other trainers. In the center of the island there are huge villas where everyone is housed and where the center of events is if they are not training. That's where we are going now .” explained Avery.

I looked around and saw boats and sailboats. Several people were swimming in the sea and some were running in groups on the beach. It seemed a bit like a military camp with all the equipment that was there. A few meters from the beach began a road made of white stones that led to the houses that could be seen. Beside the road there were beautiful plants and flowers of various colors with palm trees that decorated the entire island. We soon caught up with our friends who were talking to a boy. He gestured to the right and waved goodbye before going on his way with a bow.

"Aidan is on the fight podium, that's what the boy said," explained Ava, pointing to a group of people.

"You go there and we'll wait here," Noah said while Jade and Elian took care of the amicus.

"Are you ready, my Love?" Avery asked me while gently caressing my hand.

I nodded my head and followed him as he walked straight towards the shouts and cheers coming from the group. When we approached, the sounds of fighting were heard. The group separated and cleared the way with a bow when they saw Avery.

And in the center of the circle they created, stood a girl with blue hair and a man with her back turned towards us. Water floated around the girl and she created currents around her body. But when she saw us, her gaze continued to look at me and she lowered her arms from the fighting position.

The water splashed on the floor and her facial expression was shocked.

The man who glowed purple stopped moving and turned towards us. His eyes were looking straight into mine, wide open from shock and surprise.

"Little flower..." he whispered.

I saw myself holding a small baby in my arms.I was still a child who joyfully and proudly held my little brother in my arms.

"Isn´t he beautiful,Iris?" I heard the voice of my mother who was sitting next to me.

"Now you have to take care of him and when he grows up then he will protect you" added my father who was standing next to my mother...

I saw how we played in the garden and chased through the fields of flowers while our parents stood and laughed at our playing.

" I love you my little flower" Aidan said as he hugged me with his little arms.

Every moment I forgot with my brother came back in a second as if it had been unlocked from my subconscious. I remembered every day spent with him as if I had never forgotten.Like a movie that was shown in my head at the speed of light. From his birth to the day we were separated, every part came back.

"Aidan...brother" I replied holding my breath.

And the Flashback hit me so hard that Ava caught me in her arms when I stumbled backwards.I quickly pulled myself together and ran into my brother's arms. The hug was comforting and full of emotions.

I heard Avery release the group from training and send them off to rest today. And while everyone passed by us hugging, it didn't matter to me. I was holding my brother. My Aidan.

My emotions overcame me and I started to cry. After everything that I lost and forgot in my life, I finally found my brother.

Tears ran down my face and I started crying uncontrollably. He squeezed me even tighter and it was as if a huge burden was lifted from us.

He picked me up from the floor in his arms and spun me around shouting "My little flower is back...My Iris is back...My sister is back!"

Thunderous applause was heard and shouts of encouragement and joy from all sides. The happiness and relief I felt could not be described in words, only the tears I cried were the purest emotions I had that indicated it.

When Aidan put me down, he looked at me through teary eyes and cupped my face in his hands.

"I've been waiting for this day all my life, my little flower. I'm happy to have you back." he said in a shaky voice.

And then he looked over my shoulder and saw Avery and Ava standing there. He released me from his arms and approached them, hugging them and thanking them.

While Ava hugged my brother, I stood next to Avery and hugged his arm, looking for the comfort he gave me with his hug. It was as if he healed all my pain and sadness with one hug. Aidan stopped for a moment looking at us and seemed to discover something.

"I see...You haven't explained it to her yet, I guess?" he asked Avery.

"He didn't explain what?" I asked as I looked between them in wonder...
