The President’s Mistake A Tale of Love and Regret by Carly Glover

Chapter 371 A Joyous Reunion and a Surprising Proposal

As soon as they stepped out of the courtyard, a group of people gathered nearby, whispering among themselves. When they saw Frey approaching, they all made way for her. Nathaniel stood by his car, holding a bouquet of flowers, looking like a nervous lover on a first date.

Frey hesitated for a moment, then walked towards him.

Nathaniel handed her the bouquet with a smile. "I'm in a good mood!"

"Good mood," Frey echoed, her heart trembling as she said the familiar words from their past. It was a phrase they often shared when they were in love.

Back then, Nathaniel went to great lengths to win her over. He waited for her every day at the entrance of her university, always with a different bouquet of flowers. His romantic gestures swept her away.

Sitting in the car, Frey took a deep breath and asked, "Nathan, do you still love me?"

"Of course I do!" Nathaniel replied, starting the car. Despite his confident tone, the word felt heavy.

Frey laughed softly. "Then let's get married!"

The suddenness of her proposal nearly caused Nathaniel to lose control of the car.

He slammed on the brakes, narrowly avoiding the green belt on the side of the road.

Her words hit him like a shockwave, leaving him stunned.

Ignoring the curses from passing drivers and the astonished gasps from Andala Corp employees, Nathaniel leaned towards Frey, eyes wide with disbelief. "Can you say it again!" He couldn't believe what he had heard.

The idea of reconciling with Frey seemed impossible given their tumultuous past.

The barriers between them were immense as blood feuds and the tragic death of their child loomed large.

In Stanna, he had gathered all his

with her hatred and distrust.

She had even threatened him with death. Now, hearing her suggest marriage was beyond his wildest dreams.

"Say it again, Frey, please," he pleaded, his voice trembling with emotion.

Frey sighed inwardly, maintaining her gentle smile. "Nathan, let's get married!"

This time, Nathaniel heard her.

He pulled her into a tight embrace, overwhelmed with joy. After a moment, he released her, adjusted her seatbelt, and whistled happily, like a child.

"Let's go! Back to Ocean Villa first!"

"Let's share the good news with Ms. Lovett and Higgins. Should we call Ms. Peyton to tell her too?"

"And I haven't proposed properly yet.

No, I want a live broadcast globally for the proposal. Everyone should

know that I, Nathaniel, want to marry you."

"You need a wedding dress! Frey, let's find the perfect wedding dress first!"

"I'll call Koen to gather all the top wedding planners in Saeville. I'll handle everything."

"Frey, just take care of yourself and show up beautifully in a wedding dress on the day." Nathaniel was a changed man.

He no longer resembled the decisive Mr. Nathaniel of Saeville.

Instead, he was filled with joy and excitement, acting like a giddy groom-to-be.

As he drove, he held Frey's hand tightly, afraid that if he let go, he might lose her again forever.
