The New World

Chapter 39 – Cries

Demonio wasn’t the type of God to beg, but he was on the verge of it. His creatures weren’t doing what he needed, and that was bringing him back the blood to create the best demon. He was running low on Grayson’s DNA and without it; he would not have a fighting chance. And he knew, deep down he knew, that there was still another part he was missing. He believed the stories of their kids, why not? It was unavoidable that the pairing of a wolf and a vampire was magical. So why would it be so impossible that the witches, or any other magical beings for that matter, had a hand in creating them?

This meant, he needed to get over there yet again before this damn battle came to fruitarian, a thought he didn’t like but very much believed; he knew it would happen, there was no doubt. His brother couldn’t kill him, so they devised another plan, not that he was surprised because he wasn’t. In fact, if he was trying to off his brother, he might have done the same thing. He just wasn’t sure what they had in store. Because, by rights, it was nearly impossible to defeat a God, any God; and if they were, it was going to take quite a bit of magic all the way around. And they had a pesky wolf and a whiney vampire to defeat him? They and who else? Who would think it wise to fight a God? No one, not another single person, and he truly thought that. So he believed, foolishly others said, that he couldn’t be bested. And he still had a magic trick up his sleeve that no one knew about that he hadn’t unveiled yet. And he planned to keep it that way for as long as he could.

“Sir?” Demonio looked over his shoulder as he mixed the product to give to the new vampires, needing them to go as protection for someone.

“What?” the God asked.

“There’s talk…” The General trailed off, his tongue brushing over his fangs that had come out in anger. The God stopped what he was working on and gave the vampire his full attention. Demonio knew The General wouldn’t approach him with something small, he learned that lesson, so he truly knew something was up.

“Talk of what?”

“A coronation.” That caused the God to freeze in his spot. Mentally, he couldn’t wrap his mind around it, he didn’t think they would go to that end, but it seems they had.

“A what?” the God asked.

“Coronation. It seems that Grayson and Fire are to be crowned King and Queen come the Blood moon.”

“Of what? And by who? There is no one who holds the power to do that, at all.” Demonio watched as The General shifted and looked around before locking his gaze with the God’s.

“The other Gods.” Demonio roared; his anger clearly visible. He hadn’t seen that coming, the three of them working together to take him out. However, he shouldn’t be surprised because he knew Sol would do anything to undo Demonio and there was his proof. He had the Goddesses involved, something that Demonio would have done if he thought they would have fought for his cause. Demonio shook his head for a moment, his thoughts scattering. Those two weren’t the only ones to be crowned, they just couldn’t be.

“Any others?” The General shook his head but deep down, Demonio knew. He needed to get his hands on those kids and they would all be there. “Get my phone; I need to make a trip.”

“To where?”

“I need my witch and her coven; the moment those crowns fall, the war starts and I need my army ready.”

“So, you’re going to get her?” The General asked, watching the God.

“Yes. While you get me more vampires and wolves.”

“And the blood that’s needed?” Demonio smirked and shook his head.

“Leave that to me. Just make my other preparations.”

-----

“You think he knows?” I pinned my hair back, letting a few curls cascade down from the high loose bun which allowed the marks on my neck to be evident of what and who I was. I glanced at Grayson in the mirror as he zipped up his slacks, his top half exposed to my view. I didn’t need to ask about who he was questioning, it’s something we had discussed and figured we needed to push him into action, so we started letting the word slip. As it was, the coronation was tonight and the word dropped just a few days ago, that wouldn’t be nearly enough time for him to gather what he needed to come attack, at least not to kill us anyway.

“I do, I’m also banking on him doing something.” Grayson walked up to me, his hands resting on my bare shoulders, his fingers rubbing over the spot on my neck, and I moaned.

“But nothing to kill us?” he whispered, his lips ghosting over the spot his fingers were just at.

“He doesn’t want us dead, he wants our blood, therefore he wants to kidnap us, not kills us.” I opened my eyes to look at him and he nodded.

“Learn that from Mariana?” he asked.

“Confirmed from her after my attack.” I watched in utter fascination as his eyes darkened and his jaw clenched. A possessive and angry Grayson was hot, and nothing got him going there better than mentioning that attack. “It’s okay, Grayson,” I said, finally standing up and turning to him. “Had I been thinking like a warrior, like I should have been, I would have seen the attack because it’s what we would have done.” With that, I walked over and dropped the robe to slip the dress on, smirking at the growl that came from behind me.

“You went for the red dress,” Grayson said, walking up behind me, his lips trailing over the back that was exposed for the moment.

“It’s really the only proper dress I have for this.” His arm snaked around my waist as he growled again.

“It also makes me want to fuck you Fire, and you know that.” I leaned back against him, pushing my butt into his already hardening dick, and nodded.

“I do. We have time before it starts, you know,” I whispered, earning myself another growl and it was one of the hottest things. His hands moved up to cup my boobs, his fingers twisting my nipples, tugging on the rings, all as his lips kissed and nipped over my neck, sucking and nipping along the way.

“Are you suggesting a quickie,” he breathed over my spot and I felt my knees get weak, grateful for his arms holding me up.

“Nope, I’m downright saying it.” This time, the growl was deeper, huskier, and it was a straight shot to my core, making me gasp. He took the dress out of my hands, tossed it on the bed, and then grabbed my ass and lifted me up, hooking my legs around his hips. I moaned as my lips found his and my nails scored over his back and his shoulders. I know this man was sexy and wanted by a ton of females, even though they knew he was claimed, so it never failed to excite me that he was mine, that this beautiful and glorious body was mine to love.

He sat on the bed, placing me on his lap, and undid his slacks. I reached down between us and gave us enough room to pull his hard dick out. I grinned as I ran my nails over it and then basked in the knowledge that he was shuddering out of sheer pleasure for me. That was a high like no other for me. And without warning to him, I lifted myself up, positioned his hard dick, and slammed down on him, making both of us cry out.

Our loving wasn’t sweet, at least not mostly. We were savage at times, the basic beast in both of us trying to claw its way out to win the war. I grinned as his lip captured mine in a brutal and punishing kiss, his hands clutching my hips tightly. Yes, we had some time, but the last thing either of us needed was someone to come breaking down our door because we were running behind on time.

I moaned as my nails dug into his shoulders as my hips twisted, taking him in deeper and faster. His arms wrapped around me and his nails scrapped down my back, causing shudders to race along my spine. He broke the kiss to look up at me, his eyes getting a reddish tinge to it and I smirked as I slowed my movements for a moment to watch him.

“What?” he mumbled the anger at the slowness evident in his voice.

“You’re just so sexy to me right now,” I whispered, rocking my hips against his.

“I don’t want sexy, I want to be fucked.” I smirked all the more at those words.

“Is my baby having a problem,” I teased him, earning another growl in response.

“Keep it up, and I won’t let you have this position again. I’ll flip you over and fuck you like I want.” The beast in me snarled at that and my fangs extended, causing him to smirk. He grabbed my hands, held my arms down by my sides, and pushed up into me, making me cry out. “That’s what I want to hear.” He did it again, starting the tremors through my body, urging me to ride him faster and harder. He grinned as he pulled me down for a kiss, catching my cries of pleasure as I came in his arms. His moans mixed with me as the hunger ebbed away.

“You’re a bad one, Grayson.” He flashed his teeth at me and allowed me to stand up, going to clean myself.

“And you enjoy every minute of it, Fire.” I tossed him a look over my shoulder as I slipped my dress back on, allowing him to help zip it up after he pulled both his shirt and jacket on.

“Mommy, daddy, are you ready yet?” Rayne asked as Rosemina pushed up the door, their eyes conveying they heard the cries. I bit my lip as I took Grayson’s arm and nodded.

“Yes little ones, are you?” They nodded at my question and I took a deep breath as I grabbed their hands. “Lead us to the ceremony then,” I told them.
