The Moros Murders

Chapter Prologue

Hatred pumps through my veins like wildfire, igniting an inextinguishable rage that can only be quenched by the sweet satisfaction of revenge. I do not heed the warnings of those who lack its passion; they have never felt its calling, never allowing themselves to succumb to its power.

They mockingly ask, “Once you’ve got your revenge, what then?” as if justice can be labelled so simply. But they are wrong: it is not about them or feeling better-it is solely about me and what I want. People think that taking action against a wrongdoer means surrendering to wrath but, I know that no matter the label placed upon it, it will be an act defined by me. My thoughts on revenge remain strong and unyielding, for I am determined to make them pay - by any means necessary.
