Chapter Chapter Thirty
Walla had managed to control her breathing as her body ached in pain, she let her eyes wonder the hospital room, she let her tears fall from her eyes as she felt alone while her pain burned through her body.
She went to open her mouth to call out, but her throat refused to make any sound higher than a small groan.
Her mouth was dry, she poked out her dry tongue to moisten her dry lips, but it didn’t help.
Walla squinted her eyes slightly as she noticed the day light poking through the window.
She turned her attention to the doorway as she attempted to shift her legs over the side of the bed.
Walla was thankful she wasn’t left without her clothes on her body.
She couldn’t muster up the strength to leave the bed.
Walla let her tears fall as she lowered her head. Her body ached; her face stung. The dryness in her throat angered with every struggle of breath, ached with every struggle of trying to make a sound with her mouth.
