Chapter 457
Punishment? Matthew looked at Rachel in a daze.
Sporting long, jet-black hair, Rachel had eyes that sparkled like water and fiery red lips. She wore a black dress that hugged her stunning figure perfectly.
With her cold and refined demeanor, she seemed so out of reach like the flower blossomed at the peak of a snow-capped mountain.
When she said those words earlier, her eyes were downcast, and her voice was soft and sweet. She looked like a wife who'd messed up and asked her husband to take charge.
Unbeknownst to her, she resembled a delicate flower in full bloom, just waiting for someone to come and pick it up.
Just the sight of her stirred up a fire inside Matthew.
"Are you sure you want me to punish you?"
Rachel bit her lower lip and hummed in acknowledgment. After she screwed up, she wanted to own up to it and deal with the fallout. That was just her way of thinking.
Yet, somehow, when Rachel faced Matthew, she didn't want any consequences. Instead, she just wanted
to play cute and brush it off. Unfortunately, she never acted cute like that. This was her first time.
Upon hearing Matthew's question, Rachel felt like her sweet act didn't do the trick. He really looked like he was going to punish her. She subconsciously pouted, nodding slightly as she snorted.
When Matthew heard Rachel's playful huff, it reminded him of what had happened in the car when she made that sound.
The passion inside him was like dry wood meeting an ember. It burst into flames and crackled loudly. Matthew felt like he was burning up as he stared at Rachel's amazing figure with bloodshot eyes. It felt like someone dying of thirst finally seeing a juicy peach in the tree.
Matthew went up and grabbed Rachel's arm, pulling her outside.
Rachel exclaimed in surprise, "What are you doing?"
Matthew swallowed hard. "Punishing you."
Rachel's expression changed slightly. She couldn't believe Matthew was serious about punishing her and felt a tinge of fear. But once something was said, she realized she couldn't just take it back.
She bit her lower lip and thought, "Sure. Bring it on. I can take your punishment. But the next time you screw up, you'll see what I do to you."
As Matthew took Rachel out of Opulent Club, she felt like her heart jumped to her throat. "Where are we going?"
Matthew muttered, "Don't ask."
Rachel felt so unfairly treated. She was trying to do what was best for them, putting up with everything for Matthew, but now she had to face punishments too.
As she was pushed into the car against her will, she started to feel anxious. She had no idea where he was taking her to punish her.
"Where to?"
With a tearing sound, Matthew's response was to violently rip Rachel's shirt apart.
Rachel was momentarily taken aback, but she immediately realized what Matthew was up to. Her cheeks turned rosy, and her eyes lit up. Was this supposed to be a punishment? It felt more like a reward.
onit
It had been so many days since they broke up. Whenever it got late and quiet at night, she couldn't help
but think about those three intimate moments.
For instance, the passionate
exchange in the car in the valley, the
fiery moments in the car by the
roadside, and the wild experience
filled with a mix of anxiety and lust in the office.
Rachel felt like she was watching a short film in her head, looping it endlessly.
She found herself losing her mind, thinking about the embarrassing stuff uncontrollably, but her heart just couldn't be tamed. After craving it for so long, it finally happened.
On the street, the sun was blazing like fire. The hot breeze kept hitting the big tree, causing the leaves to flutter wildly. Even the tree itself rocked along with it.
A car came to the parking lot, and a guard was yelling out instructions on how to park. "Back it up! Keep going! Okay! Stop.
After the car stopped, the driver got out and walked toward Opulent Club.
Inside another vehicle, things finally settled down. Rachel playfully tapped Matthew's arm.
"You scoundrel. We broke up, and you're still doing this to me."
She deliberately emphasized the word "breakup" as if she was hinting at something to him.
Matthew chuckled. "I'm trying to treat your illness. After the breakup, things have gotten worse for you. You haven't smiled in ages, and you're just so cold. We need to take care of your condition."
