Chapter 22
Chapter 22
They settled back onto the couch, with Hayden leaning against the back, feigning a relaxed posture while contemplating. how to handle that woman.
He hadn’t forgotten about the bet he made with Jacob, wagering a Mulliner 728 on successfully wooing her.
Now that she had come to him for help, it was a perfect opportunity to combine both matters and kill two birds with one
stone.
If Jacob had any objections, it was his own fault for planning to go out today. Hayden couldn’t be blamed for seizing the opportunity.
In contrast to Hayden’s languid demeanor, Aurelia’s sitting posture was much more proper.
She sat upright, resembling a student attentively listening to a teacher’s lecture. Her slender, snow–white hands rested on her knees.
Her eyes, still glistening with tears shed moments ago, appeared exceptionally clear, with faint ripples shimmering within. At that moment, they were earnestly fixed on Hayden’s face.
Hayden began to feel uneasy under her gaze. “Ahem. Aurelia, even though you say things without thinking and infuriate me, I must admit that your filial piety in doing something for your father is commendable…”
Aurelia. listening to his uneasiness and his attempts to sound at ease, couldn’t help but burst into laughter inwardly. She knew without a doubt that he had never uttered such grandiose yet empty words before, ones that were so blatantly disguised.
She realized that people like them didn’t need much effort to seduce a woman. There was no need for formal speeches.or pretense. Just a flick of the finger or a suggestive glance was enough to make women willingly undress and climb into bed.
Now he had to speak such convoluted words to her, and it sounded all messy and confusing to her. It seemed that her tears and helplessness had successfully deceived Hayden, the privileged scion, who had a well–established background, for the time being.
It was “for the time being” because Aurelia was well aware that those guys, with their carefree and idle demeanor, were actually shrewd and cunning at their core.
At that moment, Hayden was inadvertently following her lead, mainly because he had never encountered a woman as cunning and resourceful as her before.
Aurelia knew that once the whole ordeal was over if Hayden took a few minutes to calm down and reflect, he would most likely see through all her calculations and manipulations.
However, by that time, she wouldn’t be afraid anymore because everything would have already been accomplished. Even if Hayden harbored some resentment, it wouldn’t be enough for him to refuse to help her.
Compared to being angry at the cunning and despicable woman, he was more afraid of being accused of being unreliable.
His outburst few minutes ago was simply because she had said, “Even if things don’t work out, let’s not get too deeply involved,” which had angered him.
Therefore, it could be said that Aurelia had already achieved half of what she had planned up to this point.
The remaining half would require her to take the initiative.
So, she lowered her head slightly and a shy smile crept up on her lips. Then she stood up from the couch and walked slowly toward Hayden, who was still rambling on.
Hayden’s mouth immediately fell silent!
Chapter 22
Although the curtains in front of the floor–to–ceiling windows, layered both inside and outside, completely blocked the dazzling neon night view of the city, the magnificent crystal chandelier in the reception room still illuminated the grandeur of the living room down to the finest detail.
Aurelia could even see the fine hairs on the back of Hayden’s hand as she held it.
With little effort, she pulled Hayden’s body closer, still against the couch, and softly asked, “Where’s the room?”
Hayden suddenly felt a dryness in his throat, a thirst that he hadn’t experienced even with his extensive experience with women. Counting his countless encounters, using his hands and feet was not enough, but being in such a cramped and bewildering situation as today was his first.
He intended to put on a pretense and say something, but when he lowered his head, he caught sight of the delicate, black strands of hair framing this woman’s face, as well as the beautiful snowy white hairpin adorning her crown. At that moment, he found himself speechless.
Aurelia didn’t wait for his response. Instead, she took his hand and entered a room on her own.
The room was dimly lit, with the bright light from the reception room seeping in through the partially open door, casting at faint glow at the room’s entrance. It was enough to vaguely make out the room’s layout but not too clearly.
The air gradually filled with a captivating ambiguity, making the heartbeat grow fervent with desire and excitement.
The intensity and passion were just right, linked to arousal but far from debauchery.
On the large bed, it was difficult to distinguish whether the bedspread was black or deep coffee.
Aurelia pulled Hayden’s body closer with her hands, gently leaning toward his chest, pressing her face against him, while her hands released his palms and encircled his waist as if they were lovers.
Hayden felt a slight uneasiness, as he had never experienced such an intimate embrace with a woman, especially considering that the woman wasn’t his lover but rather an exchange partner for mutual benefits.
Just as he contemplated pushing her away, Aurelia’s hands had already released his waist and lightly pushed his chest. behind him was an expanded and spacious fluffy bed.
Hayden knew.
Thus, he didn’t resist but instead sat on the bed, eager to see what surprises this woman could bring him.
Meanwhile, Aurelia had effortlessly taken off her coffee–colored windbreaker and now stood before him wearing a form- fitting wine–red, low–cut thin sweater, accentuating her alluring curves.
Hayden’s eyes instantly brightened. Having seen countless women, how could he not recognize the perfect proportions of Aurelia’s figure?
Not to mention the color of her wine–red sweater, which accentuated the delicate, snow–white skin on her chest, akin to a freshly peeled egg, tempting one to squeeze it with force.
The bodycon skirt tightly wrapped around her buttocks, accentuating their fullness and perky shape, while at the waist, it hugged so snugly and tightly as if it can be grasped with just one hand.
Truly, she was graceful and alluring, like a willow swaying in the wind, exuding an irresistible charm!
Just her waist alone was enough to ignite his anticipation for their copulation.
These scions were indeed adept at playing, refined in their pursuits, and each had their own distinctive style.
Especially for someone like Hayden, positioned at the pinnacle of the social pyramid from birth, he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and was an embodiment of indulgence!
