Chapter 3109
"Grandpa, you're finally here!" Howser was overjoyed to see his grandfather and immediately approached him.
"Howser, didn't you call me here for a rescue mission? What, what happened here?" Percival was in utter disbelief when he
arrived at the scene.
Howser sent Severin back to warn Percival of the imminent danger in hopes that he would lead the Jansons over to aid Leon,
but who would have thought Leon perfectly capable of taking on the Micahs all by himself? He did not need Percival's help at all,
and this was evident in the absolute chaos and disarray that the place was left in, as well as Leon's striking absence from the
scene.
Percival did not expect this at all, and he struggled to understand what happened.
"Grandpa, it turns out that Mr.
Wolf is far more powerful than I ever could've imagined.
Not only did the Micahs fail to take him down, but he single-handedly managed to defeat all of them," Howser replied, looking
rather sheepish, then proceeded to explain everything that happened to his grandfather.
"What? I can't believe it.
Is he that powerful?" Percival gasped incredulously after hearing Howser recount his tale.
The rest of the Jansons were just as stunned to hear this.
Neither of them would ever imagine that a youngster like Leon would be capable of defeating the entire Micah family and single-
handedly leading to their downfall! Neither of them could believe their ears, and if it were not for the fact that they were standing
right at the scene, none of them would have believed Howser's story! "Well, Mr.
Wolf had to leave earlier, Grandpa, but he wishes we could help him with handing the Micahs over to the Dragon Corps.
I promised him we'd do as he wishes," Howser added.
"Very well then! If he wishes the Dragon Corps to take over, we shall do as he says! We Jansons have to do good by heroic
youngsters like him, for he may very well be the beacon of our future!" Percival replied, nodding in approval.
The rest of the Jansons, under Percival and Howser's lead, began to clear the scene and escorted the Micahs to the Dragon
Corps headquarters.
The Jansons were, along with the Chanters and the Suttons, among the three most powerful ancient families in the Central
Region.
The Chanters' roots traced further back, giving them significantly more power and influence over the other two, and it was
considered public knowledge that the Chanters were the most powerful out of the three.
On the premises of Chanter Mansion was a quaint little cottage tucked in the far corner of the garden, which was where Wulfric
Chanter, the patriarch of the Chanter clan, usually spent most of his time meditating.
All of a sudden, a silhouette darted over the garden wall and slipped past the cottage, pausing just a few feet outside of the
cottage window.
It was none other than Central Boss, who journeyed here after making his hasty escape.
He approached the cottage door, knocked gently on it, then opened the door and slipped inside.
Wulfric was sitting at a desk in the middle of the room, and perched before him were towering stacks of training method manuals,
depicting various martial arts techniques, including those belonging to the Ultimate Power Class, the Advanced Power Class,
and even the Preliminary Absolute Methods! The mysterious Brahma, one of the most infamous criminals known to mankind,
was none other than Wulfric Chanter himself! The teachings of the Absolute Methods were lost for centuries now, and most of
the martial artists in the Central Region, including the members of the three ancient families, practiced the Preliminary Absolute
Methods instead.
Practicing the Preliminary Absolute Methods would allow one to attain the Semi-Saint State, but nothing further, and certainly not
until the Saint State.
Wulfric was such an avid practitioner of martial arts that his biggest dream was to develop a new Power Method that was
comparable to the Absolute Methods and would ultimately allow him to progress to the Saint State! He also dreamed of creating
a new Martial Technique that would allow him to become one of the most powerful practitioners of the Absolute Methods.
To attain this, he sent many of his subordinates—most of them members of the renowned Criminal List themselves—to attain
various Martial Techniques belonging to numerous Power Classes to diversify his knowledge.
Many of these Martial Techniques were based on foundations known to martial arts, such as Light Methods, Dark Methods, and
the Five Elements.
He aimed to gather as much and as diverse information as possible to develop an all-new Martial Technique that would enable
him to become the most powerful martial artist the world had ever seen! After decades of hard work, he finally began to see the
light at the end of the tunnel.
About six months ago, he not only managed to develop new training methods belonging to the Absolute Methods but even
successfully attained the Saint State! Unfortunately, Martial Techniques belonging to the Earth class were far harder to come by
than their Power Methods, and as a result, he was yet to be able to create Martial Techniques for the Absolute Methods.
For the past six months, he had buried himself in books and ancient scrolls, eager to achieve his second dream of developing
Martial techniques belonging to the Absolute Methods! Once he successfully attained this goal, it would not be long before the
Chanters demolished their enemies and dominated the world!
