The Enigmatic Return (Neera and Jean)

Chapter 69

The triplets quickly arrived with their faces filled with excitement.

We're so happy to eat together with Daddy!

"Thank you for your food, Uncle Jean!"

As soon as they entered, they stood in a row and thanked Jean with their cute voices.

Jean smiled and gently said, "You're welcome. Lunch is ready. Go wash your hands."

"Shall I take you there?" Jeremy said with a smile.

The triplets nodded and followed him.

A few minutes later, the four of them were seated in the dining room. It was the first time the dining room had so many people.

"Eat whatever you like, don't be shy," Jean said warmly as he picked up his chopsticks.

"Thank you, Uncle Jean!" The triplets said in unison, picking up their chopsticks.

They were well-mannered. There were almost no sounds of utensils clinking.

Jean was surprised and inquired about Neera's condition.

Harvey said, "Mommy already took the medicine and rested. It doesn't seem too serious, She should recover soon!"

Penny nodded and said, "She should be fine!"

Jean did not ask further.

"Uncle Jean, don't just focus on us. Eat while it's hot too. We can take care of ourselves."

The atmosphere in the dining room was harmonious.

After lunch, the triplets bid farewell and returned home. Jean did not insist on keeping them.

Instead, he told Jeremy, "Take a Tupperware and pack some food for them to return. Ms. Garcia slept for such a long time. She will need it to replenish some energy in time."

The triplets thanked him again and left with the packed food.

However, the doorbell of Jean's house rang again in the afternoon.

Ian opened the door and saw Penny and Sammy with an anxious look.

"What happened?" Ian asked curiously.

Penny asked, "Mr. Assistant, is Mr. Handsome at home?"

Ian replied, "Yes, are you looking for him?"

"Yes, is he free now? Mommy's fever is worsening, and she must go to the hospital. We've tried to help her to cool down, but it didn't work!" Penny spoke worriedly.

Ian nodded and said, "I'll go report it now. You two can go back and wait."

The doublets nodded and returned home.

Soon, Jean arrived. He saw Harvey was changing Neera's towel.

The triplets seemed worried, but they were not panicking.

Sammy and Penny immediately approached him and said, "Uncle Jean, we entrust our Mommy to you!"

Jean glanced at Neera on the bed. She was still not awake and seemed to be uncomfortable.

After hesitating for a moment, he responded gently and picked Neera up. Then he told Ian, "Get the car ready."
