Chapter 62
Neera went out and headed straight to the grand theater after having dinner.
Before leaving, the triplets surrounded her and chattered.
"Mommy, wear this dress. It's so pretty!"
"Mommy, did you put on makeup? You'll outshine everyone with makeup on!"
"Mommy, make sure to be on time!"
Neera felt overwhelmed and didn't even have time to react. They pushed her out of the door.
Neera could not help but smile.
"Alright, I'm leaving. Stay at home and don't run around."
Half an hour later, she arrived at the grand theater and entered on time.
However, only a short time after she entered, Jean also arrived.
Ian followed him out of the car and said, "Mr. Beauvort, please enjoy yourself. I'll wait for you here."
Jean nodded with a calm expression.
The theater was well-lit, with thousands of seats.
Jean followed the seat number and found his spot, unexpectedly seeing Neera.
However, he didn't notice the triplets anywhere!
He didn't ask, and he sat down beside her.
Neera glanced up, and she felt someone sitting next to her.
She immediately froze and was surprised by Jean's appearance.
"What are you doing here? This can't be real. How can we meet here?"
Jean did not bother with her and asked, "Are you alone?"
Neera replied, "Yes."
Jean smirked and asked, "Shouldn't it be you and your three kids together?"
Neera confusedly said, "Why must it be the four of us? They couldn't get other tickets, so I came alone."
After a while, she finally realized the hidden meaning in his words and asked, "What do you mean by that?"
Jean showed his ticket and said, "Your son gave me this ticket. He said it was to thank me."
Neera was stunned.
She did not know about this.
Even though their relationship had improved somewhat, she just felt strange!
She immediately sent a message to Harvey.
"What's going on? Why did you give Uncle Jean a ticket without telling me?"
The triplets saw the message at home and quickly sent a pre-prepared response.
"Mommy, sorry, I did it to thank the uncle. I was worried you would disagree, so I had to split the tickets. Please don't be angry!"
Neera was speechless. They were troublesome!
Neera could not help and explained reluctantly to Jean. She even showed him their chat history.
Jean said, "I thought you were straightforward. You said you weren't interested in me, but it seems like you asked me out differently."
Neera fell silent momentarily and said, "You're overthinking. Who wants to ask you out?"
She continued to say, "You can leave now. No one is stopping you!"
Jean pondered and said, "I naturally want to see a rare concert like this. If I leave now, it will waste your son's good intentions."
His words carried a hidden meaning.
Neera did not catch it. They continued to banter until the concert finally began...
