Claire staggered back out of shock.
"You jerk. I came back from abroad for you. I had a thriving career there, but I chose to start from scratch here just to be closer to
you. And now you're telling me that I'm not your one and only, that there are other women besides me? Is this your way of taking

Sherman simply stood there and allowed her to vent; his expression gradually became consumed by indifference.
