The Billionaire And His Son Want Me Back (Paisley)

Chapter 201

Chapter 201

Max watched Serena running after the kite on the

grass and couldn't help but speak in a softer tone, "Alright, higher. But slow down, don't fall.

"Sorry to trouble you, Max, Maria said, apologetically. "Paisley promised to take Rena out today, but she got called away for work. So, I had to bring her out instead. At least she's happy now, thanks to you." When Max heard that Serena had only started getting happy after seeing him, he felt incredibly flattered.

"No trouble at all. I really like Rena," he said..

Maria's eyes brightened when she heard this. "Oh, Max, you like Lids too?"

This question left Max a bit speechless. He paused for a moment thinking, 'Do I really like kids?"

The Godard family had many children, but every time those kids saw him, they acted a little scared. And every time

he saw those noisy kids, he couldn't bring himself to show them a good face either.

He found the noise of those kids really annoying. So, he probably didn't like kids.

But when he saw Rena, it was different, Especially when she walked toward him, mimicking his every

step, his heart softened. So, he must like Rena, but he didn't like kids.

"Yeah, I do like Rena" So, he could only answer like this.

Maria smiled when she heard this. "Of course, Rena is like her mother, very lovable."

Max couldn't help but think of Paisley's focused and beautiful face when she was needling him. "Yeah, indeed."

Maria's eyes twinkled as she glanced over Max. He was tall, had a great figure, was handsome, rich, and, most importantly, treated Rena well.

Max seemed perfect, except for being a bit physically weak. But if he was physically weak, he couldn't have kids. If he couldn't have kids, he'd treat Rena even better, and everything would eventually belong to her. Maria couldn't help but smile at the thought.

Max was confused. "Maria, is something making you happy?"

Maria quickly stopped laughing and asked Max, "You're single, right?"

Max didn't understand, but answered honestly, "Yes, I am."

"Okay Maria nodded, then continued asking. "You don't have any childhood sweethearts, or women you feel you owe. something to, right?"

Max was still focusing on Serena, worried she might fall or be approached by a stranger. He paused for a moment when he heard Maria's question. He didn't understand what Maria was getting at. "Uh, why would I have those women?" "So, no? Maria confirmed.

"Yeah, no, Max said, clearly irritated just by hearing Maria talk about it.

Good, good Maria's eyes became even brighter as she looked Max.

Single, handsome, great body, rich, not a player, and importantly, he was physically weak. He and Paisy would be a perfect match

With that thought, Maria couldn't help but say. "By the way, Paisy is also single."

Suddenly, Max's hand slackened, and the

kite string slipped to the ground. The kite, which had been flying well, fell.

"Ah, the kite fell!" Serena yelled unhappily, turning to look.

Max

quickly bent down to pick up the kite, the bright sunlight making his ears turn red. While reeling in the kite, he walked toward Serena,

Maria stayed where she was, smiling to herself. She couldn't help but think that Max and Paisley seemed so perfect together.

She sat down, watching Max and Serena fly the kite, and casually snapped a picture of the scene, sending it to Paisley. She didn't notice that Dominick and Grayson were heading toward them. "The weather's nice today, perfect for kite flying," Claire Horn said as she walked behind father and son, carrying a bunch of things-

tents, picnic boxes, everything-

"I'll carry those for you, Ms. Horn," Dominick said to Claire.

Claire quickly refused, "No need. Mr. Vanderbilt. These are things Sonny needs close by. I'll carry them. It's safer."

Dominick found her words a bit insulting, as though she was implying that he might harm his son. But since she insisted, he decided to let her have it her way.

Originally, he was supposed to be on a business trip today, but Chaire suddenly suggested taking Grayson to fly a kite to create some good father-

son memories. And it had to be done on a large open lawn, not in the Vanderbilt Manor's yard.

Dominick

had intended to refuse, but when he saw Grayson's pitiful face, he couldn't bring himself to say no.

He understood Grayson well. If he hadn't mentioned it, Grayson wouldn't have been too keen. But once he did, Grayson would become eager to go. Clearly, this was all Claire's idea. However, after thinking about it, he agreed. As he thought about it, he realized that he didn't really have many fond memories of father-

son moments with Grayson

Dominick stopped paying attention to Claire and instead looked at the little girl, who was running after the kite in the distance. Was that Paisley's daughter?

When Claire saw that Dominick wasn't going to stop her and just let her hold the

things, her smile faded a little.
