His eyes looked bloodshot, and he was staring at me with a nasty grin, his eyes bursting with lust.

His words made my head hurt all the more and my mind go blank again. I could not even form a coherent sentence to the utter nonsense he was spewing.

He took a moment to process that I had just hit him instead of thanking him for his so–called act of gratitude.

Theo looked up at me angrily, his hand resting on his cheek that I just slapped. He folded his fists and clenched his teeth.
