The Alphas’ P**n Star Mate

Chapter 93 – The Alphas’ Porn Star Mate

It went on for months. My ex-mate was bored with her mating. She claimed he didn't pay attention to her or love her like a mate should, and she was scared he was still searching for his fated mate, despite them already being together. He would only sleep with her once a week out of obligation, and that was why she wanted me. Not just me, but all four of us. She was hungry for attention. She craved the feeling of being adored. The others were commanded to follow through with entertaining her, but she never commanded me after that first time at the club. She didn't need to. I was willing, and craving to feel whole again.

The Alpha knew. He went on the hunt to find the one bedding his mate behind his back, but she still had the scent-neutralizing agent to cover all traces of us. She could never fully get off while mated with another, but that wasn't what she was after anyway. She just wanted to feel the illusion of being desired. It wasn't until she forgot the spray one afternoon that everything went to hell.

He found our scent on her. All of us. She tried to beat him home to retrieve it, but it was too late. We had to run. I don't know what lies she told him, but it was our blood he was after. Not hers.

We rejected the pack, then ran for days until we got to California, hoping to get lost in the busy city of endless people from all around the world. We were lost in how to adapt to human life and what we were going to do. All of us were just warriors before, with no other skills. That was when Alexi suggested applying to work in a strip club.

Humans were drawn to us, and we received offers for all kinds of fucked up shit while living on the streets. Stripping would be better than nothing, and we all knew we could do it. The shit my ex-mate had us doing for her made us all experts by the time we were discovered. That was how we found Broom StiXXX. Alexi found it, and when we met Rodger, we knew we could never go anywhere else. It was a haven for men like us.

For years, we lived in our makeshift pack, but I still had that void creeping inside of me. It would ache and throb, making my wolf whimper in pain at times. That is until the day we met Chloe.

Chloe was like the opposite of my situation. My constant state of limerence felt like it could come to an end if it was with her.

My obsession with what could have been with my ex-mate shifted to Chloe more and more over time. All of the fantasies and dreams I would have about my ex would now feature Chloe as the main star. Unlike my ex-mate, she never led me on, which in some way made my obsession grow. I knew she didn't want an Alpha, and she was the Luna I could never before obtain for myself. She was within my reach....

Until Mick intervened.

She accepted Mick, but that was from a moment of passion. I had passion too with my ex, and then was tossed aside the next day like garbage. I thought it would be like that for her too, since she didn't want a fucking Alpha. But no. She never rejected Mick, and then accepted his asshole twin brother too.

Again, I am standing on the top of a hill, watching the scene below like it was an out-of-body experience. I couldn't fully believe it was real, not matter how long I watched. I had no alcohol to blame for the sick feeling rolling in my stomach, seeing two marks on her neck instead of just one. Not only is she mated to both of them, Mick somehow was able to get a wolf. It was the one area I was sure I was better than him, because I had a beast and he had none. Not anymore.

"Come on, man," Beau walked up behind me, slapping me on the back. "Quit torturing yourself. Let's go inside and have a beer. The others are asking about you."

I scoffed. I've been mostly by myself since we came here. They have all been integrated into this fucking pack like we belong here, while I was left with that throbbing void in my chest all by myself. I've felt like nothing but the laughing stalk and an outsider since we arrived. I didn't want to burden my friends more than I have, and I wanted to feel happy for them, but bitterness is all I seemed capable of feeling instead.

"You go ahead," I turned around and headed for the woods. "I'm going for another run." It is the only thing that makes the void disappear for a little bit now. When my beast is in control, we can turn everything off and run on instinct. That's what I crave.

Beau shook his head solemnly, but didn't stop me as I stripped and shifted before taking off. Instantly, I feel like I can breathe again as the wind rushes past me.

My wolf was skirting the border, crossing it often, avoiding the patrols, when he picked up the scent of a deer. Having skipped dinner, we took off for the creature, knowing venison would satisfy our hunger. It was off official pack lands, so it shouldn't be an issue to hunt.

I found the doe in a clearing, munching on fresh grass. I was just about to pounce, but then a little fawn came stumbling towards its mother. My wolf froze, not having the heart to kill the mother, leaving the baby to be an orphan.

We watched for a second, letting the scene rain peace over us, watching the mother care for its baby. With a snuff of hot air, I finally turned around, ready to sprint away to feel the wind again, but a hot-searing pain strangled my wolf, fastening around his neck and bringing him to the ground with a powerful cry. He howled in pain, forcing the shift and making me come forward.

Silver. Someone threw silver around my neck. Even in human form, it was inhibiting me from doing anything but thrashing in pain.

"As I suspected," a low voice mumbled in satisfaction. "Hello, dear mutt. You are coming with me."
