Chapter 198 – The Alphas’ Porn Star Mate
"Look at them," Gail gushed, running her finger down Emilio's cheek. "They're perfect." Labor was fast, or at least that was what I was told. It felt like fucking forever to me.
When my baby boys were placed on my chest, all the bad just faded away. All I felt was pride and unending love for the two little lives me and my mates created. "Emanuele is hungry," Miles brought our other son over to me.
Gail lifted Emilio from my chest before Miles placed Emanuele in my arms.
"I have a question," Jamie raised his hand. "How do you feed them with your tits pierced?"
Dad backhanded him across the chest at the same time that Mick and Miles snarled at him.
"I know, I know," Jamie raised his hands. "Get out. I know." He headed for the door.
Dario was glaring after him too. Jamie was really pushing it today with all the Alpha men.
"Poor Jamie," I smirked, putting a blanket over my shoulder, so I could feed my hungry baby. "He needs my other babysitter to help keep him in line."
"I miss your other babysitter immensely," Mick growled.
"Aw, I miss you too," a deep, reverberating voice chuckled from the door.
"Lenny!" I almost squealed seeing my favorite brother-slash-babysitter there.
"Hey! What are you doing here?" My dad crossed the room to give him a big, manly hug.
"I invited him," Winnie poked his head in, looking around the room to see if it was safe. He was very adamant that he didn't want to hold a baby, or even see them if he could help it. "Do you have a problem with that?" Winnie turned his question towards me. "No! Of course not!"
I held my hand out to Lenny as he got closer. He took it and smiled warmly down at me.
"Congrats, mommy."
"Thanks, Uncle Lenny."
"Uncle Lenny," Winnie scoffed.
"Do you have a problem with that, Uncle Winnie?"
His eyes went wide in fury as I threw his question back at him. "I am not an uncle!" he yelled before turning tail to escape.
I chuckled under my breath. Winnie likes to watch Taylor, Darren and Billy's daughter when he thinks no one is watching. I even caught him touching little Pearl's toes with a mystified look in his eyes. He might be fooling the others, but I know he's fascinated with the newest tiny member of our family. He called Lenny here for me. He wouldn't do that if he truly didn't care.
"How's Fire Moon Pack?" I asked as Emanuele suckled.
Lenny took Emilio from Gail when she offered, smiling tenderly down at my baby.
"Fire Moon is just fine," he said in a baby voice, not looking away from the sleeping little boy.
"Good to hear, Alpha Lenny."
Lenny cringed like he always did when he heard his new title. If I hadn't insisted so strongly that he had Alpha blood in him, and he was the only one I could trust with that wayward pack, he would have rather run for the hills than take it over. From what I've heard, the pack has completely turned around. He even has a female Beta.
"Did you get that situation taken care of?" Miles asked.
"What situation?" I looked from my mate to Lenny.
Lenny looked uncomfortable for a few seconds before he said, "We found the former Beta, and a few other survivors or Cameron's tyranny. We just don't know how to proceed with them. They were not innocent in the former Alpha's acts." "I told you what to do," Mick sneered. "Get rid of them."
"It's not that easy," Lenny shook his head.
Seeing Lenny like this, with the mental strain and stress of the pack on his shoulders, I know I made the right decision. He was made for this role. I felt it deep in my spirit that there was a reason Lenny needed to be the one to lead Fire Moon.
Lenny was going to be here for a few days while I recovered, visiting everyone and recuperating some too. Fire Moon was about six hours away by car, but it felt like a world away. I'm glad Winnie called him here so we can visit him in person instead of just talking on the phone and video call.
We sat around and talked for a long time as everyone took turns holding the twins. When Taylor had her baby, the doctor took precautions to ensure she was completely safe since she is a human, and we were not sure if her baby would be human too. No one was allowed to get their baby fix until Darren and Billy scented Pearl's inner spirit bear a few days later.
No one had to worry about the twins. They were fully werewolves, and probably witches too. They weren't susceptible to human diseases or nearly as fragile as Pearl seemed. The boys were solid and too fucking big to have been taking up reality in my uterus for so long. Kai, Beau, Alexi, Riley and even Dave came to visit and see the babies. Driana and Paulina were back at their cottage outside of Fire Moon, but Rodger called them to tell them the news. Driana congratulated me on having my body back, but Paulina looked truly happy. She wanted to see the babies several times before agreeing to hang up the video call.
Winnie even came back with Boyd and Estel at one point. I guess he called them too. Boyd looked awkward to be there, but Estel fit right in, gushing over the babies with Emily and Gail.
Nonna had left earlier, right after Lenny got here. I was surprised she never returned, seeing that she seemed the most excited about the pregnancy. I wonder where she ran off too.
"Okay, everyone but the daddies out," the doctor came to chase everyone away. "Luna needs her rest and my hospital is not a social club."
After everyone was gone except us, Mick climbed into the bed on one side of me as Miles got on the other. Miles kissed my bare shoulder as Mick bent down to place feather soft kisses on each of our sons' heads.
"Little clones, both of them," I whispered. "They look like the both of you."
Mick's hair has grown out, and he's stopped keeping up with his body maintenance over the past few months, making him and Miles look so much more like the twins they are. They still had their differences, and were far from being identical in every sense of the word, but when strangers see them out in public they can tell they are twins now.
Now our sons were destined to look like them too. Their features were so much like their daddies that it wasn't fair. I carried them and suffered for months.
"Lets try for girls next," Mick whispered, breaking the serene moment.
I growled, waking both of our sons.
"For fuck's sake, Mick," Miles lifted his head to glare at him.
"He just volunteered for the first shift," I passed the screaming babies to Mick. "They're full, so you should be good for the next few hours while we get some sleep."
"But-" Mick looked horrified.
"Good luck, bro," Miles opened his arms as I snuggled against him.
We've been back home at the pack house for a couple of days now. Mick and Miles went back to work today to handle some of the business they put off while adjusting to life as new parents.
That meant I got a babysitter again today, and who better than Uncle Lenny?
"Ya lyublyu tyebya fsyei dushoj," he whispered to my Emilio, looking like a true babysitter or a nanny.
He loves the boys and is always eager to help with them, which was probably why Miles and Mick called him to be with me today instead of Jamie. Lenny is an Alpha now and under no obligation to take orders from my mates, but he jumped at the chance to cuddle babies. "You look good with kids," I smirked at Lenny, adjusting Emanuele on my shoulder to burp him after his feeding.
Lenny smiled at Emilio and said in his usual baby-talk, "Uncle Lenny looks good all the time."
I laughed softly so as not to wake Emanuele, who was falling asleep on my shoulder. "That's right you do. Hurry and find your mate so those good looks and daddy skills don't go to waste."
His face faltered a bit. "I wish it was that easy."
I was curious about his reaction, and was about to ask, but just then I felt a ferocious energy coming from my mates. Then I felt their suicidal thoughts and heard barbaric screaming come from outside the room.
Lenny and I exchanged glances, then got up to see what the commotion was.
Mick's yelling was loud enough to wake Emanuele, even before we made it down the first flight of stairs. It might not be a good idea to bring the babies into whatever mess this is, but I couldn't leave Lenny with both, and I felt that both my mates needed me. "WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?! WHIPPED CREAM?!"
Whipped cream? What the hell was going on with whipped cream to trigger this type of anger from Mick?
"Marcella, really?" I heard the strained voice of Gail as we rounded the corner. "We discussed this. Lock the door."
"Wait," my father-in-law's voice was deadly low. "You knew?!"
"Oh, put a sock in it," Nonna snapped. "Quit yammering and close the door. Take them with you."
"We're all adults here," Jamie's voice sent a shock through me and I instantly knew what must have happened.
Sure enough, when we got close to the suite belonging to Nonna, I saw my mates and in-laws crowding on the other side of the open door. The people in the rooms around were peeking out into the hall, trying to see the action.
"He didn't," I gasped, a shocked smile spreading on my face. "Holy crap."
"You're dead, mother fucker," Miles snarled, and went to lunge for someone, most likely Jamie, but I couldn't see past the bulky, angry Alphas. Gail, thankfully, stopped Miles from going much further from the door.
She looked relieved when she saw me coming down the hall. I can't even imagine how hard it must have been for my meek mother-in-law to handle the tempers of her sons and mate.
"What's going on here?" I squeezed in, holding my hand over Emanuele's head to cover his ear from his fathers' growling.
"He's fucking our grandma is what's going on!" Miles waved his hand towards the living room.
I pressed my lips together to keep from laughing when I saw Jamie standing like a deer in headlights with a can of whipped cream in his hands. He was stark naked, except for this junk covered in dripping white goop. Nonna still had her skirt on, but her shirt was off and her bra was exposed. She looked good for her age. She was even wearing lace.
The cream on the corners of her lips did me in. I couldn't help but laugh at how ridiculous this all was.
"This isn't fucking funny," Mick growled at me.
"I agree," my father-in-law muttered.
"Oh, it's funny. They're adults, guys. Let them have their fun."
"With whipped cream!?" Miles looked ready to pop a vein.
"Whip cream. Rolling pins. Whatever gets the job done," I eyed Jamie and Nonna with amusement.
"No," Mick snarled. "No fucking way. He's gone. Now."
"Quit being dramatic," Nonna scolded him, looking guilty. "It's only a bit of fun."
Miles looked like he was going to be sick. "He's banished or dead. You pick."
"Are you fucking serious?" Jamie groaned. "Why do you have to be like that? It's not that serious."
"It is fucking serious! You're fucking my Nonna! I explicitly told you not to!"
I rolled my eyes at Mick's laughable statement.
Alpha Dario, who had gone dangerously quiet, was watching Jamie and his mother like he was calculating something. Then he said, "There's an easy solution to all this, mother."
Nonna turned her penetrating gaze on her son, lifting her chin defiantly. "Yeah. It's for you all to get out of my room."
Alpha Dario stood stoically, not backing down from his mother's sharp stare.
"You know that's not going to happen. Just as you also know that there is no plausible way for that boy to stay here peacefully the way things are now. So you only have one choice." "And what choice is that?" Nonna was not backing down either.
Alpha Dario huffed out an exasperated breath. "Make him your mate."
"Honey!" Gail stared up at her mate like she thought he was crazy.
"If you want to keep him around without one of us killing him, it's the only way. Mark him and let him mark you, or he's got to leave."
While Jamie looked hopeful, Nonna's confidence seemed to waver.
"I don't mind," Jamie smiled crookedly down at her. Then his smile faded seeing the look on her face. "I would love to be your chosen mate, Marcella," he said in a less confident tone. Nonna seemed to have a war going on in her head until the saddest expression crossed her face. She looked so apologetic as she shook her head.
"I'm sorry, amo. I can not take another mate. I won't."
There was so much sadness in her eyes, but I knew by the faraway look in her eyes that it wasn't for Jamie, but someone else.
Jamie looked on in disbelief, his mouth open but no sound coming out. Even Mick and Miles quieted down with the somber atmosphere in the room.
"Oh, Marcella," Gail, went over to her, grabbing a blanket from a chair before wrapping it around Nonna's shoulders before helping her up and leading her to the bedroom.
"Shit," Jamie managed to close his mouth and scratched the back of his head. "Well, fuck." He was trying to hold it together, but I could see the turmoil playing in his eyes.
I was about to go to him, comfort him in whatever way I could while he was naked and covered in whip cream, and with my mates still irritated nearby. But before I could move, Lenny did. He passed Emilio to Miles, then went to pat Jamie sympathetically on the back. "Come on, Jamie. Let's get you packed. You're coming with me to Fire Moon."
