Chapter 95
Chapter 95
Since she was coming back, Alpha Nick owed it to her to prepare her for what she was coming to meet. He explained, "She defiled my pack by having S*x with Tom in the woods."
Sheridan's lips parted in shock. Packs were different, but at the Dark Moon Pack, their woods were a sacred place.
Intimacy was taboo. It was a sin against the pack for one to have S*x. Light k*sses were permissible, but they cherished S*x as something only to be done indoors, in the confines of one's bedroom. Charlotte had lived there for so long and should have known this. "That is a great offense," Sheridan said in a shaky voice. Alpha Nick's hand had lowered to her buttocks, giving it a tight squeeze that made he sweat with sinful pleasure. She could not hold back the moan that escaped her as she caressed his curly hair.
Alpha Nick's breath was heavy, and he wanted to do so many things to her but did not want to lose control, lest she felt bad and changed his mind about returning to him.
"So, tell me. Why did you run away? Please don't lie to me." His lips were close to her cars, his hot breath fanning them. She squirmed, turning her head to the side to avoid the sinful things her b*dy was feeling.
Her action caused his lips to fall on her n*ck, sucking deeply and leaving a hickey. "I tried to hate you, Sheila, but I couldn't. I felt that your actions were justified, and I hope that your time away gave you what you wanted."
Tears welled up in Sheridan's eyes as she spoke truthfully. "No, it didn't. I ran away because I felt stupid."
"How?" Alpha stiffened slightly and held her teary gaze. Her hands holding his hair equally dropped.
"I was ashamed of the fact that I was still in love with you when you hurt me so much." A tear dropped down her cheek, and Alpha Nick pressed his lips on it, k*ssing her tears away, and tasting the saltiness in it. Warmth filled his heart, such as he had never felt before.
"This is the sweetest thing I have heard in forever. I'm so sorry
for realizing too late how much I love and could never live without you," he smiled affectionately at her.
Sheridan suddenly regained herself, realizing that she had just confessed her feelings to him: Did he charm her or something? The smirk in the corner of his lips was so annoying. "You asshole, get out of my room."
Alpha Nick chuckled and leaned closer. He whispered in her ear, "I will, but you owe me that night. You promised to give yourself to me again, remember?"
Sheridan felt her cheeks burning so hot they climbed to her ears as fear, blended with passion, gripped her momentarily.
"You haven't forgotten?" She felt embarrassed as she recalled that night. She had agreed so easily. Alpha Nick seemed to be enjoying the changes in her expression, including the redness of her face.

"I never had a memory of how you tasted. Have a good rest because tomorrow night, you shall fulfill that promise."
Sheridan's fingers balled as she tried to calm her anxiety. How foolish of her to make such a promise to an Alpha, no other than Alpha Nick, and think he would forget about it. They were so close that they could feel each other's breath.
His thumb caressed her parted lips, and his eyes filled with desire. Their lips inched closer, she thought he was going to k*ss her, her eyes closed. The next moment she heard the opening and closing of the door. Just like that, he was gone.
Disappointment filled her mien. Why did she desire him so much after all that he caused her?
Alpha Nick arrived at the Dark Moon Pack at almost midnight, feeling light, happy, and nostalgic. He was missing Sheila so much, wishing for the time to run fast to the next day.
He was just going to welcome those four Alphas but never thought to return with the heart he once lost with a cute creature that looked like him. Except she was so pretty that he could not take his eyes off her. He knew that sleep would be far from him, as he would not stop daydreaming and counting the stars until tomorrow when Sheridan arrives. To his utmost surprise, Beta Dustin and Bree were waiting, as Dustin had only informed Bree of all that happened.
She had only returned an hour ago from her visit to other packs because Dustin called to inform her on the phone. The visiting Alphas had all retired to bed, so there was nothing to be done. Dustin's gaze dulled when he saw Alpha Nick alone. "What happened? How did it go? Did you see her?" He was not even giving Alpha Nick the chance to speak.
Alpha Nick looked around and informed them. "Let's go to my room."

Without a word, they followed him, and as soon as he closed the door, a smile bloomed on his lips as he announced, "The pack has an heir. She's Daisy, and she looks just like me." Bree had tears in her eyes, eager to see her niece. Dustin was equally overwhelmed with joy, wishing they could wake Athena to inform her about the news. "When do we see her?"
Alpha Nick's smile slowly faded. "Soon. Someone has eyes on Daisy, and it's related to Charlotte, so she will be at the Moonshine Pack for the time being. Sheila, her brothers, and cousin will be here tomorrow before sundown," he finally smiled again.
Bree nudged her big brother playfully. "Finally. You should have said that part first."
"When did you even get here, and how are the guests?" Alpha Nick asked. Bree's lips closed as she had not even seen them.
"Sleeping," Beta Dustin answered, adding, "Alpha Seiko is quite upset that you didn't keep to your
word."
"Don't worry. I will make it up to him. As for now, you two get out of my room. I have to prepare it for the second coming of my wife."

Chapter 95
Dustin and Bree were shocked that he did not want to involve the maids. Alpha Nick was the happiest they had ever seen him, and it was quite infectious.
The next day, Bree woke up very early due to the excitement of seeing Sheila soon. However, she began to feel strange. Her heart was pounding fast, and she felt drawn to something. Freshening up and dressing up for training, she stepped out of the door and saw one of the Alphas. Her wolf instantly screamed.
"Mate."
