Chapter 64: System Error
"All the dust that you have collected, spread it again in this room, in the same manner as they were before!"
"Ha?"
"I'll give you 30 minutes, but I shouldn't see even a single particle lying even 0.01 cm off from its initial position..."
After saying this he slowly walked towards the door.
"No... Wait...", Jay extended his hand as if he was trying to stop him but all he say was the instructor smirking as he locked the door again!
"AHHHHHH!!!! DAMMIT!!!! I'LL KILL YOU BASTARD!!!"
Jay had no other option but to do as he said but the task given right now was utterly impossible.
He couldn't have possibly able to put all the dust particles back to the same place where they belonged too since he had moved many things from their original place.
"Tsk, he is just wasting my time... and the task he has given now is utterly impossible!!! DOES HE THINK THAT I AM SOME GOD!!?"
He was throwing a tantrum and the time was passing by.
"Sigh, no use... even if I were to remember all the places, I won't be able to place them back at the same places!!!"
He thought about giving up and just sat down. He looked at the time in his watch which showed 2:24 PM.
"Already 4 minutes have passed since he left... I don't want to do this..."
He sleeps flat in the floor and waits for the time to pass but for some reason he wasn't feeling good. It was just a gut feeling but it was provoking him to do this.
Jay had lost his will to do but he thought to at least give it a try and started doing what he had asked to do.
Step by step, he was able to put the particles in the exact positions without allowing them to fly. It was as if the moment he placed them, some of the particles sticked to the surface.
On the other hand some of the particles were just blown away even by a little disturbance. Regardless of this he tried his level best to do this.
For some reason this task was easier, since all he needed to do was place the particles which he could have done just by throwing them in air, but the time limit given was longer.
Jay knew it very well that the instructor wouldn't give more time for fun. There might have been some reason so he took this task seriously. Thanks to his extraordinary memory capacity of remembering things, he could visualise each and every place and was able to complete his task just before the time limit ended.
'ZZDD'
The door slide and the instructor entered.
Again it was a familiar view of Jay lying on floor and panting even more than the first time.
He took a look at the room and then clapped.
He said, "Good! You barely passed the test!"
Jay immediately got up and said it angrily, "Barely!!? What do you mean by that?"
The instructor looked at him and smirked. He said, "Kid, I said that all the particles had to be placed exactly in the same position, by some of the dust is flying and some is sticker to your back since you were lying down."
"Oh shit! I didn't think about the fact that some of them will stick to clothes!!! And sir, its impossible to put all the particles in the same place, obviously some will fly off!"
He laughed loudly, "hahahahaha! You said it's impossible?"
He kept on laughing which irritated Jay.
"Of course it is! No one can do that!"
He stared at Jay with red eyes and said, "Look at this..."
Suddenly a large amount of mana was released and the whole room was occupied with blue light.
"T-this..."
The mana overflow was creating such a pressure that it was making it impossible to even breathe properly.
"Uhhhh...."
Jay's legs gave in and he was made to kneel. He tried to resist and thanks to his well built body he was able to stand again.
As soon as he did that he tried to look up and when he did he was completely surprised.
Suddenly the pressure started to disappear and the expression on Jay's face started to change.
We was awed at the sight when he saw million of tiny blue lights shining in the room.
"This...? What are these?"
The instructor smirked a bit and said, "These are just tiny dust particles on which I have imbued with mana... with this they would stick to the surface I was and won't leave it unless the mana on them dissipates!"
"..."
Jay was speechless. He just now saw something which he had imagined a few minutes back. He had inintially thought about it but gave up even before trying as he felt it would have been impossible but after looking at the instructor doing it so easily, he was awed.
The instructor laughed a bit and introduced himself formally.
"I'm Ron Taino, age 36, S- Rank hunter. I specialise at controlling mana which is SS - Rank!"
He smiled and then withdrew all the mana he had imbued.
Jay's mouth was left open with his eyes bulging outward. He had just now seen something that was unimaginable!
"That was amazing... will I be able to do that?"
He said it out loud after seeing the spectacle. Ron smirked and said, "If you practice under me, then I can assure you that you will be able to do that within 3 months based on your talent!"
"You mean..."
"Yes! You just need to become my student until you have learned to control this perfectly or until you transcend me..."
"..."
Jay without a doubt wanted to be his student but he thought that he could learn it right away using his system.contemporary romance
So he called out to the system in his mind, 'SYSTEM, ANALYSE'
Then suddenly a notification popped up which made Jay tensed.
'DING DONG'
