I watched him tuck his hand into his pocket and before I could utter one more word, he walked past me and out of the room immediately.

UNKNOWN POV

"How dare you! How dare you try to ruin my plans?" I punched him hard in the face and he staggered backward before losing balance,

I rushed towards him and grabbed his darn face,

"The plan was to kill the wolves and leave without any trace of vampire attack so the hell did you do it? Are you against me?"

"No.... I’m sorry. She was struggling, and I couldn’t pin her down, so I bit her in anger. She fucking tried to rip my heart out."

"Then you should have let her done that. You should have let her rip your fucking heart out if that’s the sacrifice we need to make."

I turned my gaze to the bastard who was seated quietly on his armchair staring at us,

"Did you forget the damn deal, Marco? This wasn’t the deal. Now they know vampires are back in the north, what do you think they’ll do to you when it’s fully confirmed?" I questioned and he stared at me quietly,

"You know what I want, Marco, and rest assured you aren’t getting anything from me if it fails."

"Are you threatening me?"

"I’m simply giving you a warning," I responded, our gaze so fierce with each other, but he chuckled a few seconds afterward to lighten the tension between us,

"I remember the plan clearly and we’re going to fix the damn mess one way or the other. If I have to sacrifice my men as the vampire king, then I will." He responded and I took a long deep breath in and out,

"The damn portion is all I need, and I’m not going to lose it to a lousy mistake. We’ll shift the date of the attack, and as for him..."

I cocked my head to look at the fool still on the floor with his gaze down, "I know what exactly to do with him and how to get rid of this damn mess."
