After we were done in the bedroom, we then decided to head towards the sitting room, where everyone was there looking at us, they all had a smile on their faces.

Everyone came to shake us, while congratulating us, making both of us to furrowed our brows in confusion, wondering what had happened.

I took a deep breathe while wondering what the happiness was all about.

"What is the matter?" I asked, already perplexed. that's when I noticed the face of Lucas as he stepped into the door, I had the raw urge to beat him up to a pulp, I felt so much anger raging in me, I don't know what else to do, the only thing I wanted was to vent my anger on him.

"What are you doing here Lucas, you betrayed us, you need to leave" I cried in rage, a smirk was evident on his face.

"But rather you need to thank me for what I did back there" he said, which made me confused, wondering what he meant by that.

"What did you mean by that" I asked.

"The moment I saw your gaze that very day when you came to our pack, I saw the love you had for each other, but unfortunately you can't make love to him, because he might end up killing you, because his Beast was too strong that no Lady can last for just for few minutes talk more hours..." He trailed before he drew in a deep breath.

He was not able to finish his sentence, before Jeff, landed a harsh punch on his face, which led to a broken jaw. He groaned, as blood trickle down from his lips, it was evident he was in so much pain. But surprisingly he was not fighting, he stood there nonchalantly as Jeff landed more punches on his face.

"You need to stop Jeff, he meant no harm"the silver haired witch interfered.

"No harm you said, you need to see the way he pierced that spear into my mate, the way she cried for mercy, but there was none" he yelled clearly irritated.

"You need to give him a chance to explain, before you eventually come to realize what he has to went through just for you to experience this day, then you will learn to be more appreciative " she said calmly.

I thought for a while, her words actually captured me, I came to realize that he needs to be given the opportunity to speak, because there are some certain things that I needed to understand at this moment.

"I'm listening" I said, while waiting confidently, but unfortunately he said nothing, but rather he moved towards the door, where he had his lips curved to a smile, he stared intently at the open field. From his facial expressions, it was clear enough that he was still thinking about what had happened to him. And what he had experienced, he then turned back to us before he started.

"I know for the fact that you needed a desperate solution, so I had to take a drastic and risky measures just to see you eventually achieve your aims..." He trailed while taking a deep breathe before he continued. "There was never any great witch".

When he said those words I was extremely shocked, I staggered back while trying to wrapped his spoken words.

"What did you mean there was never any witch?" I asked, but he was silent.

"Answer me" I demanded, he then let out a sigh before he said.

"I know for the fact that you needed help and according to the witch, she said the only solution was for you to be bitten by the great vampire king, the reason we didn't tell you about it, was because the witch has clearly said that the News shouldn't be disclose to you, because it won't work, this witch you are seeing here, she's the Great witch" he pursed.

"Then why did you have to do that to my mate?" Jeff demanded with so much rage etched in his voice.

"Because I noticed that she was about to ruined the plan and I don't want that to happen, I had to poison the mind of the king with so much hatred so he can go ahead with his decision. when he had it mind to kill you for him to survive " he finally said.

I was shocked when I heard that Information, before I sat on the nearby wooden chair.

"Then what is the outcome result after he was bitten by the vampire king?" I asked, because I was not present there.

"The dragon side of your mate which they have tried futile attempt to eliminate by an ancient enemy, that won't be disclose to you right now, eventually rise to it's fullest glory..." He pursed before he continued.. "Jefferson had a past, a past about his parents that he must have to find out himself, because I'm not in the position to tell him".

"You have to tell me " Jeff demanded with so much authority etched in his voice, but he only shook his head without saying a word.

"I can't tell you because I don't even know it myself, Only you yourself know it, but you have not yet found the deeper part of yourself, you have not fully embraced the dragon side of yourself, that's the reason why you can't see the other side of yourself" he said.

"Yes, I'm glad that our plan worked and we sincerely apologize for the pain you had to go through, but unfortunately we are leaving and we would leave you to rule this pack after the dismissal of her father" the silver haired witch said to me, I plastered a broad smile on my face before I went closer to her and gave her a tight hug.

"Please what's your name?" I asked, because I'm still yet to know her name, she dart her gaze towards Lucas, almost like she was seeking his permission.

I noticed the way Lucas nodded while smiling broadly before she eventually said.

"My name is Emily, the crone of crones" she said before she chuckled.
