Chapter The journey to the past 10
They cuddled close to each other. But before Jefferson could fall asleep, he noticed a man in silhouette he couldn't comprehend who it was.
"Who are you?" He asked, his voice was audible enough to be heard, he narrowed his gaze to understand if there was anyone there, but unfortunately, after some time there was none, it made him release a sigh of frustration before he stomped towards the door in search of man but there was no one there.
Rose abruptly stood she was scared, " did you notice anyone?".
"I thought I saw someone, please don't bother yourself," he said before he went to sleep close to her.
Micheal kept on pacing back and forth, he let out a sigh of frustration, before he hit the wall with great force, he was infuriated, when he remembered Rose with Jefferson, he hates to see him close to her.
"She's mine" his wolf growled, he took a deep breath, while trying to calm down, and he then let out a sigh before he went ahead to smash a table to pieces, he hated to see Rose with his brother, he wondered why he craved her as much as he does.
He hates the feeling, but there is nothing he can do about it.
He decides to rest by lying down a bit, maybe he can forget about everything, but he just can't, no matter how hard he tried, he took in a deep breath while wishing to forget about everything.
He usually sleeps with Jefferson, but today he was not present with him, the lingering thought of how it happened, made it even more worse and painful, he tried as much to calm down, but he can't no matter how hard he tried. After some time, he eventually doze off. The next day approached, he squint his eyes to the blaring light of the day, his heart skipped just from the thought of everything, he wanted to be close to her, but one thing was uncertain, would she wants to be close to him.
"She's mine, and no one else's" his wolf growls, he Just wanted her and he doesn't even care about the repercussions of his actions, he thought for a while, before he stood up immediately while heading towards the garden.
He noticed the wizard conversing with one of the savants, he was still wearing his dark old cape despite the fact it was a sunny day, his lush lashes blinked, before his cherry red lips sprawled to a smile, the moment he noticed the presence of Micheal.
"How are you doing?" He smiled, before he pats his back in reassurance, the only thing that gladdens him at the moment, was the solemn thought of the pain Micheal was experiencing. "I'm fine," he said depressed.

"You know I'm Lucius, the great wizard, anyone can easily rely on, so I'm asking you one more time, what's the matter?" He asked gently. Micheal thought of telling him how he felt, but something deep within him was stopping him from doing
So.
"I said I'm fine, you don't need to pester me any further," he said, he released a deep breath before he let out a sigh while trying to calm down.
Then Lucius nodded before he left. While Micheal darts his gaze towards the open environment, he ruffles his hair, while wondering what to do in other to calm his nerves, he tried as much as possible to forget about everything, but he can't no matter how hard he tried. He let out a sigh before he went to have a shower.
When he was done, he came out of the bedroom, before he noticed the presence of Jefferson, he glowed more than before, his smile broadens, he was happy even from his gaze, it made things clear that that's how he wanted things to continue.
"Hey... you were not here last night" Micheal expressed his uncertainty, acting nonchalantly like he knew nothing about his relationship with Rose.
"I went out with someone, the person that matters so much to me, I think I'm in love Micheal" he blurted before he took graceful strides towards the window while looking at the small and big houses. it was clear enough that he was in deep thoughts.
Micheal clenched his fist, he hates the fact that he had to see him fantasying about the woman that meant so much to him, the only thing he wanted at the moment was to forget about everything, but everything was just so hard for him, he then let's out a sigh of frustration before he ruffles his hair. it was clear enough that he was confused with the whole ordeal.
Jefferson was voicing out his emotions, but Micheal was not listening, because he felt so much rage seeping in, he wanted to kill and destroy at that very moment.
Before Jefferson could utter one more word, he smashed his fist so hard against the wall. Jefferson stared at him in horror, wondering what had triggered that reaction in him," what are you doing" he asked confused about his actions. Micheal ruffles his hair before he let out a husky groan, his fist clenched when he remembered the scene that occurred between his brother and Rose. It makes his heart aches with immense pain.
"What's is the matter brother," Jefferson asked, clearly confused with his actions, he then took steady strides before he hugged his brother because he knows this has always been the way that usually calms him down, but rather he did unexpectedly.
When Micheal pushed his brother with much force, Jefferson landed on the ground with a husky groan, making his sigh, he hates the fact that he had to see this side of his brother.
"What is the matter, you don't look your normal self, has that witch poisoned your mind?" Jefferson asked. He shook his head.
"Then what is the matter?" He asked concerned.
He clenched his fist before he said the words which would trigger so much hate," Rose she's mine and I'll do anything to have her".
