Chapter Sweet 21
Custom Made Rings
He put it out of his mind because he was worried that He wouldn’t be able to control himself.
Sigrid felt insulted. No one had ever guessed that she weighed 120 pounds after seeing her. This was an insult to a girl who majored in dancing!
Seeing that she was angry but not daring to say it out bud, George realized that what he’d just said was very hurtful. “Sorry, I don’t know much about estimating the weight of a girl.”
That was small comfort to Sigrid and she remained silent.
George frowned. He had no experience in sweet–talking girls.
The aggrieved look on this little girl’s face made him… really want to kiss her hard!
Why was she so cute? She looked very delicious!
While George was thinking about whether he should speak more to coax her, the waiter began to serve the dishes.
Sigrid had a big appetite and with her ‘angry mode‘ activated, she ate even more than usual.
After lunch, George took her directly to a jewelry store. Looking at the rows of diamonds, she was dazzled and nearly blinded by the sparkling gems,
“Why did you bring me here?” She was confused. Did he want to give her a diamond as an apology? It was too generous!
“The ring will be custom made. What kind of diamond would you like?”
Sigrid instinctively looked at the ring on her hand. “Don’t we already have one?” she asked.
In the wedding ceremony, there was the exchanging of rings between the bride and groom. At that time, she had put on the diamond ring that he had prepared for Rebecca,
The Center diamond was three carats surrounded by many smaller diamonds. It was in the shape of a crown, and its design was very exquisite.
She remembered that Rebecca had boasted that the ring was worth more than 80,000,000 dollars… “That’s not for you.” George said as he motioned for her to look at the diamonds in the showcase. “You choose for yourself.”
Sigrid looked in the direction he was pointing, only to see that the smallest diamonds there were more than three carats.
She felt that it was too extravagant, so she lowered her voice and said, “This one on my hand is just fine. I don’t need a new one.”
“Choose one,” George said in a cold tone as he looked at her expressionless. The wedding dress had been tailored for Rebecca and the ring was supposed to given to Rebecca as well. It just didn’t seem right to her.
Sigrid bit her lip and finally chose a diamond of three carats. “I like simple diamonds. Just this one. No baguettes
George frowned. “No, it’s too boring.”
Sigrid curled her lip. “You wanted me to choose for myself. Well, I’ve chosen but you won’t let me.”
George was silent for two seconds. He pointed to one of the red diamonds and then chose a few other

small diamonds. He didn’t care about Sigrid’s shocked expression.

The red diamond was very rare. And then there were the small ones. ‘I’m afraid this ring will cost more than one billion just for the diamonds alone! she fretted to herself.
Sigrid looked at the diamond ring on her hand which was said to be worth 80 million dollars. She thought that it would be better to sell this ring. Otherwise, her rings alone would be worth nearly 2 billion. It would be too much for her to go out and not fear being robbed!
Seeing that the sales person had taken out the diamond and packed it up she rushed up to his ear and whispered, “If you’re having a new one made to order, let’s sell the one on my hand.”
While she was talking, her warm breath tickled his ear, making him feel itchy not only in his ear but also in his heart, as if it had been touched. He turned to look at her small fair–skinned face up close and said, Are you trying to seduce me?”
