Chapter 25 My Mommy Have Many Suitors
Lillian thought Archibald would leave after taking her to the hospital. She had never expected that he would go to the hospital
together with her.
Both of them came in front of the children’s ward. When seeing Lillian, Zoe, despite carried a pale face, showed a happy smiled
and opened her arms to embrace her.
The nurse was trying to feed her medicine. However, Zoe was unwilling to eat because she had to have those bitter pills
everyday and Lillian showed up when she was grumpy.
Seeing the nurse’s vexed expression, Lillian said to her with gratitude, “Sorry for bring you trouble. I can feed her pills.”
The nurse was delighted when hearing her words. If it wasn’t for Stephen’s arrangement, she didn’t have so much patience to
comfort the child. She put down the cup in her hands and was ready to leave. However, she found Archibald was here as soon
as she raised up her head. It was Archibald!
She found he was handsome and elegant when seeing him in person. Especially when finding he was smiling towards her and
nodding, she couldn’t help flushing.
It had been a long time since she started feeding Zoe pills and she had never seen Archibald show up. However, after the
coverage, he showed up together with Lillian. Maybe the coverage was true?
“Why don’t you take the medicine?” Lillian asked Zoe mildly and her face was full of worry.
Zoe blinked her eyes with her little hands twisting together, answering sadly, “Mommy, those pills don’t taste good. I don’t want to
eat them anymore.”
She was saying in an aggrieved tone, making Lillian pity her so much. She said patiently, “Don’t you want to leave the hospital as
soon as possible? Only by taking the medicine can you leave this place.”
“But you have said that for many times, I...I still cannot leave the hospital!” Zoe pouted and her eyes were covered with teats,
questioning Lillian in a pitiful way.
Lillian was really hurt when hearing her words. She embraced her tightly, wanted to cry, and kept caressing her hair.
“Sorry, it’s my fault. But I promise you that as long as you take the medicine according to what the doctor says, I will take you to
the playground to take the pirate ship.” Lillian knew that going to play is children’s simple but innocent wish.
Zoe took the medicine after Lillian comforting her for a long time. Only then did she notice that there was a strange uncle in the
ward. He looked handsome, even better than uncle Stephan.
“Mommy, it’s this uncle here to visit me?” Zoe’s voice was full of curiosity. She kept on looking Archibald up and down.
Lillian was dumbfounded because she didn’t expect that Archibald hadn’t left yet.
She frowned and asked coldly, “Why haven’t you left?”
Sebastian came. He looked at Zoe and then Lillian. Then he finally said sluggishly, “Lillian, is this girl your child?” He had only
seen this child’s picture in the data.
“It’s none of your business. The door is over there and you can leave now.” Lillian helped Zoe to cover up the quilt, while she was
hoping Archibald could leave as soon as possible.
However, Archibald sat on the chair naturally and said with a smile, “Aren’t you a virgin? How could it possible for you to have a
child.”
Lillian’s action stopped for a while and she was embarrassed when looking towards that man. Zoe opened her mouth before she
started arguing, “How could you know that I am not my mummy’s child?”
Archibald smiled more evidently while Lillian glanced at him viciously. She turned around and asked Zoe, “Who told you that you
are not my child?”
“It was my other mummy. She always said that I am not her child. Maybe that’s the reason she abandoned me.” Zoe lowered her
eyes and pouted with a sad look.
Lillian didn’t know how to comfort her because she knew which mummy Zoe was talking about. Her eyes darkened. She touched
Zoe’s face and said gently, “No, your other mummy loves you the most. She just has gone to a very far, far place, but she cares
about you all the time. Take the medicine and get well quickly. Huh?”
Zoe was only four years only and didn’t fully understand what she was talking about. She suddenly asked, “Can I meet my
mummy if I leave the hospital?”
Lillian could only nob when seeing her face full of expectation. She couldn’t say anything further because her heart hurt so much
when thinking of Zoe’s real mother.
Suddenly, a nurse came to ask her to grab some medicine. Lillian took Archibald out of the ward.
Before leaving, Archibald said to Zoe, “Good girl. Next time I will bring some presents to visit you.”
Zoe tilted her head and asked him seriously, “Are you here to chase my mummy? If so, you have to line up.”
Archibald was interested and asked, “Well? Why?”
Before Zoe could reply, Lillian led Archibald out of the ward. She was tired of their talking. How could them say so much things
considering it was the first time they met?
Lillian looked at Archibald unhappily and said in a cold voice, “Archibald, do I have to show you the way of how to leave the
hospital?” Then she turned around without saying anything, as if she hated him so badly.
Archibald stood still and looked at her figure. It seemed that every time was the same. He could only watch her leave. He
squinted his eyes darkly.
The more ridiculous coverage came, saying Archibald was in the hospital to accompany Lillian to take the pregnancy test with a
photo the journalists took for them to be in front of the hospital.
Now the whole Palmer family was amazed. They didn’t care whether the coverage was true or not, but wondered why Lillian
showed up together with Archibald.
Lillian was called back to the old house again.

Inside the Palmer house.
Eleanor’s sharp voice came when Lillian had just arrived at the living room, “Come here and kneel down!”
Lillian was dumbfounded and found Douglas and Eleanor were sitting on two couches, with two lines of neat servants. The
atmosphere was serious.
Although the Palmer family wasn’t a family with a long history like the Hawkins, it was still well-known and was the decedents of
intellects. Hence, they particularly focused on the family rules and followed them rigidly.
It seemed that they were going to question her. Lillian stood in the centre of the living room and asked in a humble way without
kneeing down, “Mom, dad.”
Eleanor threw the newspaper at her and scolded, “Have a look! What is this?”
