Chapter 23 You Have No Right
Sebastian looked at her with darkened eyes and raised her jaw. Then he said ironically, “Lillian, don’t think highly of yourself. I
know there is something between you and Archibald. How dare you pretend innocent in front of me?”
“It was an accident, but it doesn’t represent that I believe you are innocent!”
Sebastian’s tone returned to coldness, “Lillian, finally, after three years, you couldn’t repress yourself and go to have sex with
Archibald...”
Before he finished his speech, Lillian raised up her hand and slapped him. Sebastian tilted his head, with hair in the forehead
covering his eyes.
“Sebastian! Mind your words!” Lillian bit her lips. She opened her eyes widely and stared at him. Why did he say such a thing?
She could ignore her husband being with other women. Why would he insult her in this way?
Besides, he had done really despicable things on her and almost let her rape by the homeless man!
Sebastian gradually turned around and looked at her darkly. His serious expression was cold and terrible. He suddenly grabbed
her, as if wanting to smash her shoulder!
“Lillian, you have to guarantee yourself is innocent if you want to blame me!” After saying this, he threw her away and turned
around to get dressed.
He hurriedly tidied up, picked the key to open the door, and told her in a cold manner, “Change the quilt tomorrow!” He closed the
door with great strength and didn’t want to look at her.
Lillian fell in the quilt. It was a brand-new quilt. Why did he ask her to change it? Was he regarding her as impurity?
Well, he was the one who was the dirtiest.
The next day.
In a tea restaurant with Chinese style, each curtain was held down to separate the room. There were not many customers during
the afternoon tea time.
Joanna wore a pair of wide sunglasses to cover her face.
She out the information bag on the table and pushed it to the other side of the desk.
“Aurelia, this is exclusive news. I only give it to you considering we have been friends for years. Seize the opportunity.”
Aurelia was the editor for FQ weekly. She wore a short hair and it represented her personality well. She acted quick and brisk.
The first impression she left on others was that she was a super woman.
Aurelia didn’t say anything but took the photos out from the bag. She was surprised when seeing the first photo and was
interested in what happened behind, “It’s really a exclusive news.”
“How much do you want?” Aurelia looked at Joanna.
Joanna took a sip of the juice and pouted, “Do you think I want to earn some money from you?”
Aurelia smiled. She knew that Joanna was so rich that she didn’t need to get paid from exclusive news. And she quickly
understood what she wanted.
She smiled and replied, “I know. You want to start a war. Well, you’re so mean. Lillian has just become a bit known to others
through this programme and you want to destroy her...Well, are you envy of her?”
A flicker of fierce look passer over Joanna’s eyes. She turned around to look outside the window and said calmly, “It’s none of
your business. You just need to make this thing known to the public and get you payment.”
“Definitely, it’s really a good chance.” Aurelia looked at the photos in her hands excitedly.
Suddenly, a hand showed up and picked one of the photos. A cold and sluggish voice came, “Well, you’re really bad at taking
private photos.”
They were shocked and looked up, finding it was Archibald speaking, the protagonist of the photo!
“Mr...Mr. Hawkins.” Joanna stammered. She swallowed and was afraid.
Archibald picked up all the photos on the table and looked at them slowly and carefully. They were all shot when Lillian was the
shopping guide on the yacht. Some of the photos were shot with his face.
It was fake that he said the photographer was bad at shooting, instead, he really knew how to choose the best angle to make it
seem that there was an affair between them.
Joanna was anxious and wanted to explain. Did Archibald hear what she said just know?
Archibald’s calm expression was so horrible when he was admiring the photos.
“Mr. Hawkins, these...” Joanna waited to explain when Archibald closed his hands and glanced at her, saying, “Thank you for
your photos. I will take them.” His voice was so calm that it was hard to guess his emotion.
Joanna looked at him surprisingly and found he continue saying, “Are you the editor in FQ weekly? May I invite you for a drink?”
Aurelia was surprised and looked through him up side down. It seemed that he didn’t want to scold them or sue them, instead,
he was going to invite her to have a drink with mild manner.
No wonder he was from a notable family.
Numerous coverages came, reporting about the unusual relationship between Archibald and Lillian, from FQ weekly’s headline,
to the internet.
In the photo, Lillian was lying on the beach chair when Archibald was helping her put on a necklace.
Lillian became famous after a night.
She was in the hospital when seeing the news on the newspaper. She put it on the table and remained fairly calm.
Within hours when the coverage came, she had received threat or scold calls. It was not a good thing to become famous.
“Lillian, why don’t you show up to tell the truth?” Stephen asked, who was Zoe’s doctor and Lillian’s best friend.
“Haven’t you seen those photos? People would only think I am lying.” Lillian didn’t want to say anything with so much troubles
happen these days.
Seeing she was exhausted, Stephen said, “Then just quilt that programme.”
“No. I have signed a contract with them. I have to compensate a great deal of money by violating the contract.” Then she sighed
and continued saying, “Where did those photos come from?”
“There are even the photos for the time she spent on the yacht. It was Archibald’s yacht and the staff were supposed to work for
him. Who dared take photos?
