Chapter 82 Doris As Servant
They didn't really know about Doris. However, Jay had recognized what sort of an individual she was.
If by chance she were to lose her temper, she wouldn't hesitate to whip every one of them and show them the way out. "Well, I like her temper. Go and cook now. We are waiting for dinner." Jay's voice relaxed as he turned towards Doris.
Doris grunted as if she was in a rage and went to the kitchen with the shopping sack.
With a seemingly furious face, she took out the food materials from the shopping sack.
The chuckling of Jay and the ladies who were seated in the lounge room was clearly audible to her.
"Mr. Fang, try this dark plum," a lady said, as she pointed towards the fruit.
"While you are at it, try this mango. It is delicious. It is, in fact, my favorite fruit," another lady added.
"Jay, I have peeled a lychee for you. They seem quite fresh, and definitely look delicious," one of the ladies insisted, as she passed the bowl, which was half-filled with peeled lychee. "Oh, alright! Thank you my ladies!" Jay replied cheerfully.
"You're all so nice.
I love you all!
And you're all my sweethearts!"
The chuckling of them was all-inescapable. Even though Doris shut the kitchen entryway, she could, in any case, hearthem.
As enraged as Doris seemed to be, she turned on the cooker hood to the most. And it accomplished.
Even though she was able to hear the mumbles, she couldn't recognize their words.
After she washed the vegetables, she set them back to the chopping board. Then, she cut the vegetables into pieces and yelled, "Jay, I'll cut you into pieces! You damn man!" "Atishoo..." Jay sneezed.at the same time.
"Mr. Fang, you are wearing too little clothes. Don't catch a cold. Here, take this!" a woman said, and brought tissue for him.
"Yeah, Mr. Fang, you should put on more clothes," Another lady likewise shared her concern.
Wasn't that right? But did he have garments to wear now?
No, he didn't.
But he was embarrassed and didn't want to get humiliated before those ladies.
So he caused a commotion and said, "I rarely show you my strong muscles. Well, ladies, don't you like them?"
How dare the ladies state no. So they all put on a complimenting smile. "Of course I like them. You have well-built muscles and a good proportioned body. Look, how beautiful!
I like it!" said one of the ladies.
"I like it too!" said another one.
"What kind of people are they?" Doris muttered. After
hearing all of these words, she was enraged to the point that she felt the urge to raise the blade and surge out to drive each and every one of them out of her apartment. But after considering all things, she decided to calm down for now.
She chose to continue with her cooking.
Doris cooked calmly, placing all the ingredients into the dishes. She just made the dishes mechanically, regardless of whether they tasted great or not. 'Whoever dislikes it can cook by themselves,' thought Doris.
As she was concocting, she tasted some food to see how it was. She picked the ones she liked and ate them, so that she wouldn't starve later.
At the point when she completed her cooking, she was full.
"Ladies, dinner is ready," Doris shouted as everyone was busy in talking.
"Can't you people hear me? Dinner is ready," Doris yelled once again. Jay's whole body was sore. Being pinched by those ladies, he didn't feel agreeable by any stretch of the imagination.
He had no emotions for all these delights. He didn't have the foggiest idea of what was right or what wasn't.
"Dinner? Oh, Mr. Fang, get up. Common, let's wash our hands together." A lady helped Jay up from the couch.
A gathering of magnificent young ladies accompanied him to the restroom.
The sight made Doris' blood freeze.
Indeed, that was a scene that ought to be watched. Each lady was a trouble to deal with.
The scene would have made anyone wonder how an ancient emperor would have lived well with such a large number of concubines around.
The emperor was seeking trouble obviously.
But, which man wouldn't be desirous to be an emperor?
Doris' brain meandered.
After washing his hands with the horde of delights. Jay plunked down on the couch once again.
He sat down and ordered, "Get me some water, please."
"Okay, Mr. Fang," one young lady reacted and stood up.
"No, wait. I'm telling the servant. You don't need to do that," Jay said coldly.
"Oh, yeah. The servant is here. Then how come it's our turn to pour water for Mr. Fang?" echoed one young lady.
"Come here. Mr. Fang's calling you. Didn't you hear him?" A lady gazed at Doris furiously.
Doris attempted to hold back her anger.
"Coming." She gave a quick answer. It was just to pour water for him. She didn't have any problem doing that.
Doris set out a glass of water for Jay.
"What about us?" the ladies said in unison.
Jay grinned conceitedly, taking a glance at Doris' furious face.
"Okay, beauties, wait for a moment. I'll go to the kitchen to pour water for you." Doris went to the kitchen.
The glasses in the living room was insufficient in number, so she wanted to fetch some from the kitchen. "Oh, Mr. Fang, but why isn't there a direct water dispenser in this apartment?" griped one young lady. "That's right. There is not even a water dispenser here."
"Yes, this house is kind of rough. I have no idea why you came here on a whim."
"Oh my God! This house is so crude! How could people live in here?"
The last sentence infuriated Doris.
What did these ladies mean? They were perched on her couch, and were griping about her home, saying that it wasn't a spot to live. Then for what reason did they all remain here? Doris took out some glasses, added some soda in each and poured some water into them.
"Everybody, your water is here." Doris put the glasses on the tray and took it out.
"Put them over there," a lady said as she pointed at the coffee table.
"Got it." Doris complied with her demand and put the tray on the table.
At that point, she stood aside respectfully.
"How about we talk later? Let's have our dinner now," one lady said.
"Yes, let's eat while it's hot."
The girls got the chopsticks and prepared to appreciate the food.
However... At the point when they put the dish into their mouths, the expression of every one of them gradually got brilliant with each biting.
"Wow, wow..." Finally, a lady let it out.
"What's it?" Jay asked confusedly.
"Mr. Fang, the food.... It's inedible," said a lady.
"Yes, whatever is it I am having, I can't even swallow it," another lady said while eating.
The ladies whined with sad countenances, picked up their glasses and drank water.
In the next second, every one of them spat the water out.
"Oh my God! It's so hot..." a lady said while drinking the water.
"Yeah!" another lady agreed.
The ladies secured their mouths with hands in torment and rushed to the restroom.
Doris remained there in tranquil.
It was just a little soda. It wasn't going to hurt them.
Jay got a bit of meat, gradually put it into his mouth, bit it once, and in the next moment, his face changed totally.
It was not just unpleasant or salty, but it was unappetizing by any means.
Jay gazed at Doris. He grabbed a tissue, spat the meat out, folded it and tossed it into the junk can.
"Doris, please come here..." Jay waved at Doris.
Doris said nothing but stood still.
"What? Are you afraid of me?" Jay was certain that Doris did everything on purpose.
