Summer’s S**y Back with Two Babies by Danielle Griffin (Alick Hill ) Chapter 28

Chapter 28

Hearing Ballard’s suggestion, Abby was stunned. Although she was also very angry about what Alick did, after all, Alick was their daddy.

Abby thought, “How could we teach Daddy a lesson?”

Although Sanford didn’t say anything, Ballard could tell that he was tempted by this proposal.

“I will find a way to help you get revenge.” Ballard crossed his arms over his chest, acting like an adult. “But you can’t tell Mommy about it, or…”

“If Mommy knew it, I would be miserable!” Ballard thought.

Under Ballard’s persuasion, Abby agreed to keep the secret, but Sanford was still a little worried. After all, he knew Alick best among the three children.

Sanford thought, “It’s not easy to make Alick suffer.”

On the other hand, a black Maybach was running along the winding road. The bright moon in the night sky illuminated the mountains and forests.

“Bill, do you think I’ve gone too far?”

Bill, who was driving, was startled and almost stepped on the brake.

He thought, ‘Does Mr. Hill begin to reflect on himself? Does what Ms. White said in the hospital work?’

“You just care about these kids, but maybe…” Bill replied in a cold sweat, trembling, “in the wrong way.”

Without saying a word, Alick turned his head and looked out of the window. His deep eyes t w i k le d with obscure light.

Alick thought, “Am I wrong?”

Before Alick got the answer, the car stopped.

It was an antique courtyard. The wall was black and white, and two exquisite jade lions. were standing at the door, looking magnificent.

Soon, someone came out of the courtyard.

“Mr. Alick Hill, why are you here at this time?”

The butler was a little surprised, but he was still very respectful.

“Mr. Hill has fallen asleep.”

“It doesn’t matter.”

Alick asked Bill to park the car, and he walked towards the innermost room on the second floor.

As soon as he opened the door, he smelled a pungent smell of disinfectant.

He frowned and walked in carefully.

A thin old man was lying on the bed. He had an intravenous drip on his hand and an oxygen mask on his face. There were all kinds of medical equipment around him.

No one would have thought that this weak old man was Jonathan, a business legend that once dominated Landom City.

Alick stared at Jonathan for a long time, but Alick’s eyes darkened.

The doctor told Alick that Jonathan’s condition was worse, and he might die at any time. That was why Alick wanted to hold a grand birthday party for Jonathan.

Alick felt a little sad when he saw Jonathan, who lost a lot of weight. When Alick was about to leave, Jonathan suddenly woke up from his sleep as if he sensed something and gently called Alick’s name.

“Alick, is that you?”

“It’s me.”

It was rare for Alick to be soft.

“I’m sorry to bother you, Grandpa.”

“It doesn’t matter. I am very happy to see you,” Jonathan said weakly, with his eyes of tenderness, “But why did you come so late?”

“I’m in the same way.”

After leaving the hospital, Alick felt upset. He didn’t want to go home alone, so he asked Bill to drive there.

Of course, he couldn’t say these words to Jonathan.

“I have recovered well these days. Don’t worry about me.”

As soon as Jonathan finished his words, he began to cough. In a hurry, Alick poured him a glass of water.

“You have to take good care of yourself. You can never finish your work.”

No matter what Jonathan said, Alick nodded obediently, not as hostile as they were before. Sᴇaʀch Thᴇ FɪndNøvel.ɴet website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of novels early and in the highest quality.

“By the way, how is Sanford recently? Take him to see me in two days.”

Alick told him something about Sanford’s recent situation, but he didn’t tell Jonathan that Sanford was sent to the hospital today.

“That’s good.” Jonathan was quite relieved, but there was a trace of concern in his turbid eyes. “Sanford is the same as you were when you were a child.”

They were both stinky and stubborn.

Every time Jonathan saw Sanford, he would feel distressed.

“If only Summer were still here.” Jonathan’s eyes darkened. “With his mother by his side, I don’t think Sanford will become like this.”

Jonathan thought, ‘Would Sanford be as kind and lovely as other children? After all, his mother was such a warm and brave child.”

He said, “Recently, I often dream of Summer. If I hadn’t insisted on your marriage, she might not have…”

Tears were welling up in Jonathan’s eyes when he recalled what happened in the past. If he hadn’t forced Alick to marry Summer, the tragedy wouldn’t have happened.

Summer and the two unborn children lost their lives because of Jonathan.

Jonathan felt guilty for them.

“Fortunately, I won’t live long. I can apologize to Summer then.”

Jonathan closed his eyes and looked sad.

Feeling the coldness on the back of his hand, Alick frowned.

“Grandpa, Summer is still alive.”

Alick couldn’t help saying.

“She’s back.”

“What did you say?”

If it were someone else, Jonathan would never believe it. After all, he saw Summer die on the operating table, but it was Alick who said that.

He knew his grandson so well that he had to believe Alick.

“Is Summer alive?”

Alick nodded and told Jonathan everything that happened to Summer after she pretended to be dead, and he met her these days. He also told Jonathan that Summer moved into the Hill’s house to take care of Sanford.

“That’s great.”

A trace of excitement appeared on Jonathan’s wrinkled face, and his body trembled slightly.

There was a glimmer of light in his turbid eyes.

Alick wanted to tell Jonathan that the other two children might still be alive, but he hesitated for a while and finally did not say it.

This was just a guess.

Alick considered, “If things are not like what I expect, why do I let grandpa worry?”

“I don’t know how much Summer has suffered these years. Jonathan felt sorry for her. “Bring her on the day of the birthday party. I want to see her.

“Never mind. You’d better ask Summer first. What if she doesn’t want to see me?”

Alick nodded. He planned to do so.

But when Alick saw that Jonathan was so careful, he couldn’t help frowning. He thought, “At that time, Grandpa was even closer to Summer than to me. If she doesn’t want to come, I will even tie her up here.”

“Now that Summer has come back, you can live a good life in the future,” Jonathan said. “It’s time to finish those things.”

Alick knew that Jonathan was referring to Joan.

Over the years, Joan always regarded herself as Alick’s girlfriend. Jonathan knew that, but he just turned a blind eye to it.

With his current physical condition, Jonathan couldn’t worry about this.

But since Summer came back, Joan couldn’t stay with Alick any longer. Jonathan didn’t want history to replay itself when he was so old.

“I will handle it,” Alick said indifferently. “But it’s impossible for me to be with Summer.”

He never liked Summer. Even if he didn’t hate her as much as before, he didn’t have any other feelings for her. At most, he felt a little guilty about what happened in the past.

But since Summer was alive, there was no need for him to be guilty.

“You!”
