Callums POV

What the fuck have I done , when Reece and Sonja cornered me I panicked.

I didn't mean anything I told them, being here with Sierra was, is the best night of my life.

Sitting with her, holding her hand made me feel alive, I've spent so much time around fake, social climbers I forgot what it was like to have a real person around me.

I'm standing out the front searching everywhere for her, a flash of pink catches my eye, I see Sierra getting on to the bus. I call her name, she turns her head looking at me, then I watch as the bus leaves with her on it.

I hang my head in shame, God I'm such a dickhead. I had her there, right at my fingertips, my stupid ego got in the way, I've fucked up royally.

I drive home, my phone is ringing I'm not in the mood to speak to anyone. When I get to my house only the lounge room light is on, oh great just what I need.

Walking in I quickly head towards the stairs, a voice stops me, it's my mum, my beautiful, sweet mum who will tear me a new one if she finds out what I did.

"Callum, a moment please ", she calls out to me. Groaning I turn to see her sitting in her PJs, waiting for me. I walk in the room sitting close to the door, I may need to make a quick getaway.

" How was your night? Mrs Moore called me earlier; she said you were with another girl that wasn't her daughter?" I look her in the eye, drawing a deep breath. "Yeah, I was out on a date, Angela and I have broken up, two weeks ago actually", I say.

My mum looks at me, her face unreadable" I see!" She says, " well I never liked that girl anyway, always said you could do better " yes, yes, she did say that, very often too.

" So, tell me about this girl you were out with, what's her name, does she go to school with you?"

" Sierra Bennett, we're both seniors at Houston public," I say. My mum taps her lip for a while, " Bennett, now where have I heard that name?" My dad walks in at that moment," Luca, do you know anyone by the name of Bennett?". She asks him .

My dad gives her a kiss, sitting next to her " there's a boy in Amelia's class, a toby Bennett, has quite the crush on the little stronzo (asshole) too " he grunts out.

Well, that's quite the development, my sister and Sierra's brother go to school together. I get up, kissing my parents goodnight, I think I may have a way to get back in a certain girl's good books.

The next day.

I spring out of bed, my plan to get Sierra to forgive me set in place.

I walk into the kitchen, my parents and sister already at the table eating breakfast," good morning my darling", my mum greets me. I give her and my little sister a kiss, "good morning mi Familia", (my family) I say, sitting down next to Amelia.

" So little sister, how's school, any boyfriends?" I ask her, she looks at me " hi Callum, schools going good , " she gets a shy smile on her face.

She peers at me, her sweet little face lighting up " well, there is one boy, Toby Bennett he is in my class, he is 10 like me, he has blond hair, blue eyes and he's really good at soccer".

I laugh at her enthusiasm, her eyes sparkling. Now to implement the first stage of my plan, "so does this boy have any older siblings, brother, sister? ". My mum looks at me strangely, I shake my head at her, she shrugs and follows my dad out.

" Umm I think he has a sister, yeah, a sister her name starts with an S, Simone - Sally -," " Sierra?" I interject, she raises an eyebrow at me," we go to school together," I say simply.

"Yes, Sierra that's the one, why do you like her?" She teases," yes Melia I do like her very, very much, I did something really dumb, and I need your help to get her to forgive me ".

My sister studies me carefully" what did you do?". Ah fuck me !!!. " I said something stupid to a stupid person, Sierra heard me and now I'm sad that she thinks I don't like her".

I pout my lips in an over exaggerated way. My sister giggles "god boys are so dumb, okay I'm in what's your plan?".

I'm standing here at the park freezing my fucking balls off, after Amelia and I came up with our plan, she got mum to call Sierra, inviting toby out for a play date.

Of course, I had to fill mum in on what I'd done, let me tell you if looks could kill, I'd be dead and buried. I told her about how Angela treats Sierra and I had stupidly thought by denying any association I'd be saving her a lot of grief, well that theory went to shit.

Sierra had been hesitant at first but after promising that i wouldn't be there she reluctantly agreed, so she's going to be very pissed when she sees me here.

So here I am waiting for her and Toby to arrive, I see a car pull into the car park, Sierra steps out of the driver's side, helps her brother out and walks towards me, stopping dead when she sees who's waiting.

She leans down, whispering in her brother's ear pointing at me and turns to walk back to the car.

I take off running towards her telling Amelia to wait for toby, I get to the car just as she's about to drive off.

I grab the handle, thanking whoever is watching over me, it's unlocked, and I throw myself into the passenger seat.

She slams on the brakes "what the actual fuck Callum, we could have been killed, what are you doing in here ", she's yelling at me, fuck she's hot!

I reach over, taking the keys out of the ignition, she shoots me the stink eye.

" I needed to apologize for last night, I am so sorry you heard what I said ", I look at her, she's watching me intently," what are you sorry about Callum, the fact I heard you spewing your disgust over being seen with Sierra the loser".

Tears are rolling down her face, fuck I feel like shit, I reach over, wiping her tears with my thumb.

" I didn't mean anything I said. I saw that dickhead Reece and his slut of a girlfriend, I panicked okay I fucking crumbled, you have no idea what you do to me love. I see you and my heart races, I've never met anyone like you, you're so kind, smart, fucking beautiful. I really like you Sierra Bennett, please believe me when I say this, I fucking like you, so very very much ".

I take a shuddering breath, she's just looking at me stunned, she takes a breath " okay " she says, " okay?" I ask she nods, I pull her into a hug, burying my face in her hair.

She pulls back a small smile on her face," you suck you know?" I laugh pulling her back to me.
