Spoiled by Mr. Russell

“You’re not considering going back, are you?” Alexander looked at Lily, concerned.
She smiled. “You know me best.”
Not just Alexander but everyone exclaimed in unison, “You shouldn’t!
Mike said, “I’m worried about Nicky, but you just escaped. How can we let you go back to that hellhole?” He shook his head
firmly. “No, I can’t let you risk your life just because I want to rescue my son.”
“Don’t say like that. It’s not like I’m surely going to die,” Lily said nonchalantly with a faint smile.
“But you’re taking too much of a risk!” Mike shook his head with a frown. “If anyone has to die, it should be me, no one else!”
He could die for his son, but there was no reason for others to sacrifice their lives.
Lily sighed and said, “I know what I’m doing. Besides, do you think I’ll be safe if I don’t go back? Will Queen Yasmin spare me?
I’ll never be safe unless she gives up on the experiment.”
“She’s right,” Dominic said, “When the old gal does, we don’t have to rescue your son because she’ll no longer have a use for
him.”
Still, they wondered if that was possible. They had tried many ways to persuade Yasmin, but she did not even budge when
threatened.
“Queen Yasmin won’t spare me since she won’t give up on the experiment, and I doubt she can find another suitable candidate
in a short time.” As if talking about someone else, Lily calmly continued, “They will try to kidnap me again no matter where I am.
Since that’s the case, I should just go to them.” Instead of waiting for the inevitable, Lily thought she might as well take action
now. After all, she never enjoyed waiting. She would rather take the chance to fight back.
After some thought, Mike said, “I don’t think they dare to do anything to you in Hyderland.” Lily asked, “What about the pandemic
and the viruses? Do you think they care?”
Although they seemed cautious and had done things in secret, Yasmin might have risked anything for the experiment. Everyone
was stumped and fell silent.
Although everyone knew Lily had a point, they refused to let her take the risk.

Moreover, she had just escaped the embassy.
“Don’t look at me like that, okay?” Lily shrugged and said half-jokingly, “I’m not as noble as you think I am. If they didn’t choose
me as the vessel, I wouldn’t bother myself with the experiment.” If she could choose, she would not have gotten involved at all.
