Sir, Let’s Divorce by Victoria Nelson Chapter 86
Chapter 86
Thinking of this, she cleared her throat and said to everyone. “We all witnessed it. The investor came to inspect in person. To make our patron father feel comfortable, we cannot accept someone with such a shady character like a thief in the program
team!”
Anya said arrogantly, “So I will give everyone one last chance”
The one who took my necklace, step forward!”
Still, no one answered her.
The office.
Inside, Matthew sat down at the conference table and looked at the situation outside. “It’s quite lively. What’s going on now?”
Gale paused briefly before responding. “The necklace of an interviewee is unaccounted for. She believes it may have been
taken.”
Despite Anya’s claims that Victoria was responsible, the interviewers maintained a cautious stance, as there was no solid proof to back it up, and thus they refrained from mentioning Victoria’s name.
Matthew placed his finger on the table and gently tapped it. His gaze was distant and distant. “Is that so?”
The camera was still recording, so it was impossible for it to cause too much of a commotion.
Gale said, “Initially, I hadn’t intended to make it public, but the interviewee. Anya, was a bit unruly…”
He paused for a moment and seemed to have thought of something.
It was obvious that the investors had stuffed Anya, the interviewee, in with their money power. It seemed highly probable that she had a connection to Matthew.
So he changed the topic and said, “There’s no need to be secretive about this. If someone has posed a query, let’s try to
resolve it.”
For the sake of their dignity, this kind of petty theft should not be discussed, yet they were still a law firm and any illegal behavior would demonstrate their professionalism.
It was already beginning to get noisy outside.
“Today’s interview should be over, right?” Remy could only maintain order.
Steff nodded. “I won’t delay the interview of the other interns, but the current situation…
Lawyer Morris, who had an amateurish pastime of jewelry–making, rose and inquired, “Student Anya, what does your missing necklace appear to be like?”
Anya pulled out her tablet and enlarged the image of the necklace for everyone to see. “I had originally hoped it wouldn’t be so unsightly, but since no one was willing to confess it, I could only find that one!”
She allowed everyone to view the photo and declared, “This necklace is Karey Original’s latest limited edition, available for purchase exclusively. Everyone can only purchase it once, and it has a unique identifier of its own!”
This silver–white necklace flashed in front of everyone’s eyes.
Suddenly someone thought of something –
“Why do I remember that the necklace on Victoria’s neck is very similar to this one?”
Originally, Victoria did not intend to get involved in this matter. She lowered her head and read the professional book.
When she heard her name, she raised her head. “… What necklace?”
She saw that Anya had already walked up to her. She placed the tablet in front of her and said, “This is the necklace I lost. Did you see it?”
In fact, she had already seen the necklace hanging on Victoria’s neck a long time ago!
She also did not expect that Victoria was so bold that she could wear it in public; she must have secretly taken it at home!
This could not be blamed on her for pointing out that she was a thief!
Victoria frowned.
The necklace was exactly the same as the one she was wearing around her neck, but it was clearly a birthday present from
Bruce!

“Are you sure you lost this one?”
