Secrets Of The Sullivan Sisters by Ada Leonard

Chapter 202

Chapter 202

Caroline felt uncomfortable and had only noticed it just now.

Seeing her clutching her belly, Nathan put his hand on her flat stomach.

Her waist and lower abdomen were thin, and his palm covered her entire stomach.

He gently rubbed circles on her stomach and asked in a hoarse voice, “Did I hurt your just now?”

Caroline blinked, her eyelashes fluttering against her cheeks. After a moment of silence, she replied, “My period should be coming soon. Probably, that’s why I feel so bad.”

“Counting the days, it should be coming in the next few days. My period has always been regular,” she thought.

Nathan held her and rubbed her stomach for a while. Then he picked her up from the bed and set her on the dining chair. “Eat something and go to bed early.”

Caroline looked at the spread of food on the table. She did not know if it was because she was too tired, but she had no appetite. “I don’t feel like eating.”

Nathan put some spaghetti in a small bowl and piled some fresh vegetables on top of it. “Eat.”

Caroline did not move.

Nathan raised his eyebrows and asked, “Do you want me to feed you?”

Caroline quickly picked up her fork and started eating.

It was already nine in the morning when Caroline finally woke up, and Nathan was no longer by her side.

She quickly sat up and was a little confused. “Why did I wake up so late? It’s nine, and the sun is already shining,” she thought.

Caroline lifted the quilt and got out of bed, walking to the lounge.

As soon as she opened the door, she heard a familiar voice. It was Renee.

Renee was here.

Renee was standing in the office, looking at Nathan with much affection. “Mr. Faraday, I know I shouldn’t have come here to disturb you, but we are engaged. However, I’m here. today to ask you to carry out the marriage.”

Chapter 202

Nathan was sitting in the office chair when he noticed the lounge door was slightly cracked open. “It looks like the lazy kitty is awake,” he thought.

He raised his attractive eyes and looked at Renee as he replied indifferently, “Ms. Sullivan, I’m busy right now. We’ll talk about the engagement later.”

Renee bailed her hands into fists. Now that her reputation had been destroyed, Nathan was her strongest trump card.

Hence, she wanted Nathan to marry her so that she could become Mrs. Faraday.

However, Nathan’s attitude toward her yesterday was very cold, so she had no choice but to come to him. But he was still vague about his intentions, not clearly stating if he would marry her.

Renee was like a cat on a hot tin roof. “Mr. Faraday, I’m King. Don’t you want to marry King?”

Outside the room, Caroline blinked. “Nathan wants to marry King?” she thought.

She closed the door.

Seeing that the door was no longer cracked open, Nathan pursed his thin l*ps and said, “Alfred, see our guest off.”

Alfred quickly entered the office. “This way, Ms. Sullivan.”

Renee had no choice but to wait. “I’ll wait for your reply then, Mr. Faraday.”

With that, Renee turned around and left.

Nathan got up, pushed open the door of the lounge, and walked in.

Caroline was brushing her teeth in front of the sink. Nathan walked over and hugged her from behind. “You’re awake?”

He was wearing a tailored black suit, making him look handsome and elegant as he exuded the aura of a mature elite businessman. He held her slender figure in his arms. They were in a rather sinful position, which made her blush.

Caroline rinsed her mouth with water. “Yeah.”

Nathan put his large hand on her flat belly and asked in a low voice, “Does your stomach still hurt?”

She felt a little uncomfortable.

“It doesn’t hurt anymore.” She put down the glass and toothbrush. “Mr. Faraday
