Chapter 13 Confronting Oona

“You’ve been scared by that witch, Oona. Go back to your room and rest. I’ll talk to Wesley for you!”

Verona immediately understood her mother’s plan and obeyed.

When Lauren answered the phone, her tone became nervous and worried. “Oh, hello, Wes. Verona is sick and still sleeping.

call right now.” so she can’t answer your

“What happened to Vee?” Wesley was immediately concerned for Verona, as expected.

Lauren sighed softly, expressing her sorrow. “It’s all because of Oona. Verona is sweet and kind–hearted, so she lets Oona be because she is family, but then she hangs Verona on the rooftop all night, causing Verona to…”

As soon as Oona was mentioned, Wesley’s expression became grim. That disgusting fool again!

Aunt, don’t worry. If Oona dares to bully Verona, I will make her pay!”

Oona’s family of three split into two groups after leaving the old Walsh family mansion..

Realizing that their daughter was now able to fight for herself, the couple’s mood improved significantly.

Christine didn’t want to be separated from her daughter so soon, but they had cast everything aside to go to her when they heard that the old lady had called Oona. Now, they had to go back to work, so they could only reluctantly bid farewell to their precious daughter.

Worried that Oona would go home alone, Christine left her with a long string of advice and motherly nagging-

During the car ride, Oona’s phone rang. She glanced at the caller ID, recognizing Wesley’s number from the original host’s memories, and immediately hung up.

The phone kept ringing persistently as Wesley called again. Oona frowned, feeling annoyed, so she simply blocked that

number.

On the other end of the line, Wesley persistently tried to reach Oona, his frustration growing with time. He called for his. assistant. “Find out where Oona is right now.”

His assistant quickly came back with the information. “Mr. Dubin, Ms. Oona Walsh is currently living in Gustama Court!”

Gustama Court? Why is she there?” Wesley Dubin frowned, wondering if it was a house the Walsh family had left for Oona.

After leaving the company, he headed straight for Gustama Court

After returning from the old Walsh family mansion, Oona took a quick shower and went straight to bed, feeling unusually tired and sleepy. Perhaps it was because of the recent rebirth in this body.

Meanwhile, Anson and Tyler were sitting down in the Royal Villa, each with a glass of wine, observing Clayton.

Clayton’s demeanor reminded me of a painting that was as beautiful as it was cold and distant. His slightly upturned peach blossom eyes appeared lazy and aloof, while his features were strikingly handsome, like ink strokes on a vibrant canvas. Even now, he exuded an elegant and decadently noble aura as he leaned back on the sofa

Anson glanced at Clayton, who appeared absorbed in his phone. He asked, “What are you looking at so intently?”

Clayton barely responded to the question, his attention fixed elsewhere as a hint of displeasure between his cold and distant brows appeared.

Just over ten minutes: ensure her safety

ago, he received news that the woman had returned to Custama Court. He checked the surveillance to
