"Shaw?" Julia's hand trembled slightly when she heard that.

"Yes, are you at Denver now?" Director Thompson continued.

Julia didn't expect that.

"I'm not. Sir, I thought I told you not to tell him where I was."

This night, Julia slept at Mary's house. It was the best sleep she had had in a while.

When Julia woke up the next day, it was already 10 a.m.

She went downstairs. Mary had already finished her breakfast. She sat on the sofa in the living room and pointed to the food on the bar. "Breakfast is there. Talk with me after eating." Julia walked over. "Why didn't you wake me up?"
