Salute To The General

Chapter 300 Please Serve Him Well

Chapter 300 Please Serve Him Well

As it turned out, Nathan had sent two bodyguards to protect Penny in secret. The two men had

intended to show up to teach the hooligans, who were creating trouble for Penny, a lesson.

However, Joseph Queen was one step ahead of them and helped to chase the hooligans off.

Even if that was the case and Penny was safe, the bodyguards still reported the matter to Nathan

Cross.

As such, Nathan had scooted to the scene with their daughter right away.

Delighted to see Nathan and Queenie, Penny rushed towards them the moment she saw her family.

The woman narrated the account of the car accident, and how Joseph Queen had rescued her, to her

husband.

"Mr. Queen is such a helpful man," Penny added, after she finished recounting the events.

Nathan looked at Joseph Queen. With one glance, Nathan could tell that this sleekhaired and cream-

faced man was definitely not a fighter.

Besides, judging from his footsteps, it wasn't difficult to conclude that Joseph Queen was a decadent

man who only indulged in wine and women.

How was it possible that a Don Juan, who luxuriated in women and alcohol, and hadn't trained in any

martial arts could defeat those hooligans all by himself?

Nathan Cross curled up his lips into an unfathomable smile and replied, "A helpful man? I doubt that's

the case!”

Joseph Queen was extremely offended by Nathan's words. Even Penny told her husband off softly,

"Nathan! how can you say that? I only managed to escape unharmed because of him."

Nathan let out a pale smile and said, "Evidence would speak for itself. Naturally, I have gathered

evidence to support my claim that he's definitely not a helpful guy.

My evidence should be arriving soon."

Right after Nathan said that a Land Rover and three MPVs drove towards them, and came to a halt

next to Nathan's BMW.

About ten men, who were all dressed in suits, got out of the three MPVs.

Five bloodied hooligans, who were covered in blood and wincing in pain, were shoved onto the ground

by those men in suits.

Those five hooligans were the same people who were stirring up trouble for Penny Smith just a while

ago!

Just then, a hunky man, who was wearing an Aloha shirt and had a cigar dangling from his lips,

emerged from the Land Rover. It was Thomas Dunn.

Thomas Dunn overlooked the five hooligans who were gasping for air on the ground. With a hideous

smile as he said, "You five foolish b*stards should have done some proper research before doing this.

Don't you know that Channing is Thomas Dunn's territory? You guys must be sick of living to have the

guts to take advantage of Mrs. Cross here."

Penny Smith stared at the hooligans, who were in miserable states and she was shocked. With a slight

quiver in her voice, she asked, "Mr. Dunn, what's going on?"

Thomas Dunn kicked the yellow-haired guy, who was badly injured and lying on the ground. He

ordered him, "You should be the one answering Mrs. Cross' question."

The yellow-haired guy lifted his bloodied face and said weakly, "It's Joseph Queen. He paid each of us

one hundred thousand to put up an act with him, where he would portray as a hero who saves you, the

damsel in distress. His plan was to make a good impression on Ms. Smith, and slowly coax you into

going to bed with him..."

Penny Smith widened her eyes in disbelief, and she turned around and glared at Joseph Queen.

Although Joseph Queen was filled with resentment, he was shocked that Nathan Cross had the ability

to mobilize resources and had caught the hooligans within such short time.

He was even more appalled that the yellow-haired guy and his gang had ratted out on him!

While he was trying his best to conceal his nervousness, Joseph Queen rebuked the hooligan sternly,

"Nonsense! They are just trying to frame me!"

The yellow-haired guy appeared to be at his death door as he said to Joseph Queen, "Mr. Queen, I had

no choice but to sell you out. Those people were so ruthless, they did not even blink an eye when they

broke our limbs. If I didn't tell on you, they would have killed us. I'm so sorry..."

Before Joseph Queen could further defend himself, Nathan Cross said in a cold voice, "You don't have

to justify yourself anymore. We're not in court right now and there's no judge. The only thing that

matters is that I have determined that you're a bad egg, and that's more than

enough."

Nathan got into the car and left with his wife and daughter after saying that.

Before he exited the scene, Nathan instructed Thomas Dunn, "Thomas, serve him well."

"Yes, Mr. Cross!"

Thomas Dunn turned his attention back to Joseph Queen and smiled grimly.

The color had already drained from Joseph Queen's face, and his eyes were filled with panic and

despair...
