as you saw him

kissing her on his bed.

You wished he

could’ve closed

the curtain.

The pain hurt

too much that when

you closed your curtain

you almost fell.

You couldn’t breathe.

You felt like

you were suffocating.

Then you fell

as you finally

allowed yourself to

give into the darkness.
