Chapter 94.
Aisha’s POV,
I smoothed down my skirt, and then turned to the mirror to fix my hair. I heard another knock at the door, and I sighed.
“I’m coming!” I called out, heading towards the door.
“Do you want me to come with you?” Harry asked, and I shook my head.
“I can handle it,” I said, opening the door.
The woman stood in the doorway, her eyes welling up with tears. I sighed, my patience already wearing thin.
“How may I help you?” I asked, folding my arms across my chest. My voice was tinged with irritation.
“Here you are,” Nelly panted, her face flushed as she stopped at the door. I gave her a sidelong glance, wondering what she wanted.
“What is it?” I asked the lady my voice high, my patience wearing thin.
“Aisha…” she began, but I cut her off. My hands are in the air.
“I’m sorry, Nelly, but I didn’t ask for your opinion,” I said, raising my voice.
Nelly scowled, muttering something under her breath. My gaze darted to the lady, my eyes racking
her.
“Aisha,” I heard through the bond, Harry’s voice clear in my mind. “Calm down.” I clenched my fists, annoyed at his intrusion into my thoughts.
“Now is not the time!” I growled.
“She’s trying to help,” he said, trying to reason with me. I rolled my eyes, unwilling to listen to him.
“Leave me alone,” I snapped, focusing my attention back on the people in front of me.
I could feel their eyes on me, waiting for me to speak. I let out a frustrated sigh and raised my eyebrows, daring anyone to say a word.
I could sense my wolf growing restless, her desire to scratch the woman’s face increasing. I groaned, trying to rein in my emotions./
“Has the cat got your tongue?” I asked the woman, my voice dripping with sarcasm. She took a

“I… I don’t want to be the reason why Luna loses her best friend,” she said, her voice quivering. “I won’t be staying here any longer.”
A smile began to tug at the corners of my mouth, a sense of satisfaction welling up inside me. But the smile disappeared when I heard Nelly’s voice.
“Where would you go?” she asked, a worried look on her face.
“I don’t know, my Luna,” the woman replied, her voice quivering. “But I can’t be the reason why two best friends are separated.” She began to cry, her b*dy shaking with so bs.
I rolled my eyes, the drama getting to be too much for me to handle. “Ugh, all this drama,” I muttered under my breath, my frustration mounting. I didn’t want to deal with this right now.
“Babe,” Harry said through the bond, “stop being so childish and just tell her she can stay.”
“No,” I growled in response, my tone brooking no argument.
“Stop being childish,” he said, his voice tinged with tiredness.
I rolled my eyes, not wanting to engage in a battle of wills with him.
“Aisha,” he said again, his voice stern.
“Fine,” I huffed, not wanting to deal with his temper. I turned to face the woman, my resolve wavering slightly.
“You can stay,” I said, my voice sounding flat.
All eyes turned to me, the woman’s face showing a look of shock.
“Seriously?” Nelly asked, her eyes wide..
“I’m serious,” I said, shrugging my shoulders. She looked at me for a moment, as if trying to determine if I was telling the truth. Suddenly, she threw her arms around me, almost causing me to fall.
She peppered my n*eck with k*sses, whispering, “I love you so much, despite you being difficult sometimes.”
I stood frozen, unsure of how to react. And then I let everything slide and I pulled her into a hug.
“I love you too pumpkin” I said, hugging her back. “It’s nothing,” I mumbled, my cheeks flushing with embarrassment.
“Thank you, my lady,” the maid said, her voice filled with gratitude. “I don’t know how I would have ever managed without you.”

I gave her a fake smile, not wanting to deal with the emotions I was feeling.
“Let me take you to your room,” Nelly offered, but I remained rooted to the spot. I felt like I was in a daze, unable to move. The room was silent, save for the sound of my heart beating in my ears.
I felt a hand wrap around my waist, and a pair of l*ps pressed against my ear. A familiar voice whispered in my ear, sending a shiver down my spine.
“Thank you,” he said, his breath tickling my n*eck. I turned to look at him, my eyebrows raised in confusion.
“For what?” I asked, not quite understanding what he was grateful for.
“For Listening to me,” he said, and I let out a small chuckle.
“It’s no big deal,” I said, breaking away from his embrace. I headed for my room, feeling a sense of relief at the thought of being alone.
“How do you feel?” he asked, his voice soft and concerned.
I stared at him for a moment, uncertain of how to respond. I felt a sense of hesitation, not sure if I could trust him with my feelings. Finally, I let out a sigh and collapsed onto the bed.
“I’m fine,” I said, my voice sounding unconvincing, even to my own ears. He sat down beside me, his presence filling the room.
“I know you’re not fine,” he said, his tone gentle. “You can speak to me, darling. What is it?”
“I don’t know,” I said, turning to face him. “I don’t know if I’m just overthinking things, but I don’t like that lady. There’s something about her that I can’t place. It’s like she has this aura that I can’t explain.” He let out a chuckle, a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
“You’re the overthinker here, you know,” he said, a teasing tone in his voice. I rolled my eyes, feigning annoyance.
“Shut up,” I groaned, falling back onto the bed.
He took my hands in his, his eyes filled with sincerity.
“You don’t need to stress about this,” he said gently. “Nothing like that will happen. She’s just going to be a maid, nothing more.”
I looked at him, his words not quite soothing my worries. I tried to push my doubts aside, but they continued to nag at me. I let out a sigh, my shoulders slumping.
“I know, I know,” I said; though my words lacked conviction.
