Chapter Progress Report
Project Bathos, Sample: Omega
Subject: Progress
Sample Omega, named Reggie Ramone, has shown remarkable progress:
As an infant, she demonstrated abilities sooner than the expected age milestones.
Two months: Began avidly rolling over.
Four Months: Began sitting up unassisted.
Five Months: Began crawling and babbling simple words.
Seven Months: Took first unassisted steps. Infant was able to walk without stumbling or falling.
Infant follow a trend of accelerated development. By fifty-two weeks, the infant was able to talk and began recognizing shapes and colors.
By age two, Reggie recognized all known forms of firearm and began learning to disassemble and reassemble standard handguns. She shows a keen interest in absorbing information.
Note of great importance: Test her IQ immediately!!!
Age five, physical abilities continue to increase; she is being exercised and her vitals are constantly monitored. She appears to be learning even what we’re not teaching her; she is noticing patterns in technology and faculty behavior and figuring out what the patterns relate to.
Age six, IQ reported back as 168. Dr. Granat has no idea what he’s going to do with her if her cognitive abilities continue to develop at this rate.
Age seven, Reggie is showing knowledge of human anatomy. Her knowledge seems focused on human weaknesses. She understands what to use in order to disable an individual quickly and efficiently. The tactical applications for this are virtually endless.
Age ten, Reggie’s abilities continue to develop. Her physical endurance is incredible; she appears to have trained expensively for a marathon and shows potential for combat.
Age thirteen, Reggie initiated puberty. Reproductive organs were altered rendering her infertile. Reproduction is only possible with corrective surgery performed by NexGen surgeons.
I have reservations about this. Granat is proud of her progress and her potential application in combat situations; I think we’re asking for trouble. She’s learning very quickly, and her strength is proportionate. She’s intelligent, dangerous, and looks like a normal teenager.
I can’t leave the company without risking my life, but I’m not continuing with this area of research… I’m done with this.

Last two paragraphs omitted from official report.
Dr. Malcolm was forced to resign. He was caught using NexGen funds to solicit acts of prostitution as well as illegal recreational drugs. There is no way to know how long he behaved under the influence and his work has been deemed defective.
