Chapter 31 May the Match of Bitch and Scumbag Last Forever

Penelope was exasperated at Madelyn's concession.

She heaved out a long breath and said, "Do you know what it means if you leave the Music Center? Do you know how many quality students you have? And that many people are eager to snatch them from you?"

Madelyn knew it all.

But what could she do? She could only choke out her apology to Penelope who had provided guidance and help to her during work. Penelope felt very fretful.

She lit a long female cigarette, looked up at Madelyn after smoking half of the cigarette, and asked, "Madelyn, did you offend anyone?" Madelyn nodded with a heavy heart.

She knew that Elizabeth wouldn't be able to cause such great trouble to her, and the person behind all this must be Daniel! She was really curious about what other means Daniel would resort to forcing her to submit.

Penelope put out her cigarette. She still thought it a pity and said to Madelyn, "Madelyn, to appease those parents, you can only leave our music center for the time being. I'll hire you back if I get a chance in the future."

Though she said so, they all knew that it was difficult for Madelyn to develop her career in the industry after this scandal.

Madelyn's face looked so pale when she walked out of Penelope's office.

When she was packing up her things, her colleagues, except for Elizabeth, all pitied her. Elizabeth said in a sarcastic tone, "Madelyn, you should know our rules. You're so bold. How could you still violate the rules when you knew them well? Just because Ms. Waylon favors you? Now you have to bear the consequences. Your reputation in our industry has been ruined. Who will ask you to teach their kids piano later?"

Madelyn took a deep breath and said coldly, "Elizabeth, you've cooperated with Daniel, right? How dare you cooperate with such a cunning man? Aren't you afraid that you'll suffer great loss in the end?" Elizabeth leaned forward and chuckled scornfully.

She lowered her voice and spoke, "Madelyn, I'm not you. You're ignorant of many things. Now let me tell you... When you just established your relationship with Daniel, we had a one-night stand. Do you know what I mean?"

She then continued word by word, "We. Had. Sex."

Madelyn felt nauseated when she heard the words.

She was so disgusted by Daniel, but Elizabeth looked complacent. Madelyn said with a cold expression, "Then I should congratulate you."

She picked up her box and prepared to leave, but Elizabeth grabbed her arm.

She didn't allow Madelyn to leave.

Madelyn's reaction was far from satisfying her!

Why? Why was Madelyn's life so smooth? Why could she possess everything when she was born?

Why could Madelyn be favored by Penelope? And why could she be Daniel's girlfriend?

Why was she still inferior to Madelyn after working hard for so long? Was she inferior to Madelyn? No! It was just because she didn't have a good family background. She was from a small city and was somehow looked down upon by others!

But now, she could finally tread on Madelyn!

Elizabeth said complacently, "Do you know why Daniel didn't touch you, Madelyn? It was because you're too reserved and boring, just like a block of wood. Men would lose their desire when they glance at you."

Madelyn looked down at the ground and said with a sneer, "Then I wish your relationship with Daniel last forever."

With that, she pushed away Elizabeth with great force and strode out of the office.

Elizabeth became so furious. But soon she became complacent again. Madelyn's family had gone bankrupt and her career had been ruined. She was just as miserable as a disowned dog. What else does she have to deserve her jealousy?

Elizabeth sat down in a good mood and sent out a message.

[Elizabeth] I bought a silk nightdress. Would you like to come to my house to have a look?

Daniel only replied to her message two hours later. And his message was cold-toned.

[Daniel] I've been very busy recently. Don't message me if there isn't an emergency.

Elizabeth felt a bit aggrieved, but at the same time, she also felt a bit sweet. She believed that she could grasp Daniel's heart. And she believed that Daniel was just making use of Eloise and that only she herself could win Daniel's heart.
