Chapter One Night 213
Chapter 213
Audrey
1 fell back against the filing cabinet with a loud elang, Edwin’s body pressing against mine as his hands roamed frantically over my exposed skin. The cool metal against my back startled me, but I found myself quickly heated by my mate’s touch.
Our lips crashed together then, causing the filing cabinet to rattle even more loudly and repetitively against the wall, but we didn’t care if the sounds startled that poor security guard upstairs.
Two months of pent up desire was slipping out now, violent and frenzied and all at once. Tongues swirled around tongues, teeth nipped at lips, fingers pinched skin. If we got caught, then so be it; this was Edwin’s company, after all. Honestly, the”. thought strangely excited me.
“Audrey,” Edwin gasped as we broke apart for air. His eyes were glowing golden with intense desire, but there was a hint of uncertainty in them. “Are you sure you want this? Here? Now? It’s been so long… If you’d rather go home, I’d understand.”
I shook my head fervently, my fingers tangling in his hair as I pulled him closer. “I need you, Edwin,” I moaned against my mate’s mouth, sending every ounce of love and desire I could muster down the bond. “Now. I can’t wait any longer. I feel like I’ll go feral if I don’t have you.”
A wicked grin spread across Edwin’s face at that, his eyes flashing an even more brilliant shade of gold. He pinned me more firmly against the filing cabinet, the metal groaning under our combined weight. “I don’t mind if you go feral,” he growled, his voice low and husky.
The sound sent a jolt of molten heat straight to my core. My wolf, dormant for so long, suddenly roared to life inside of me. I felt my eyes flash silver as I surged forward, nipping at Edwin’s neck. He moaned, the sound echoing in the small archive
room.
“Goddess, I’ve missed you,” he breathed, his hands fumbling with the button of my pants.
“I’ve missed you too. I’m so sorry, Edwin. So sorry that I-”
“Enough.” His tone brooked no argument, immediately cutting me off before I could waste time waxing poetic about my regrets. “Just help me with these *** pants.”
I helped him, shimmying out of my pants just enough to allow him access to the plump parts of my bare thighs. Without a word, Edwin dropped to his knees, his eyes never leaving mine as he h**ed both of my legs over one shoulder so that I was completely off the ground, with only his body and the filing cabinet against my back to hold me aloft.
The first flick of his tongue against me had me throwing my head back, a loud moan escaping my lips.
“Shh,” Edwin chuckled against my skin, gently tugging the soft flesh of my thighs apart to allow himself better access. “We don’t want to get caught.”
But it was hard to stay quiet as he worked me with his mouth, his tongue and fingers bringing me to the edge over and over and over again.
I bit my lip, my arm, my shoulder, anything in an attempt to stifle my moans, but it was a losing battle. With my thighs pressed together like this, my **y was bunched up and throbbing, all the most sensitive parts begging for release. And Edwin knew that.
But he didn’t let me finish.
Just as I was about to fall over the edge, Edwin pulled away, wiping his wet mouth with the back of his hand. I whimpered at the loss of his tongue against me, but he was already standing and unbuckling his belt with shaking hands.
“I need you,” I panted, desperately helping him push down his pants. “Now, Edwin.”

Chapter 213
He didn’t need any mure encouragement. In one swift motion, he tugged my pants off the rest of the way and lifted me up into his strong arms, pinning me against the filing cabinet as he did into me in one urgent stroke. We both groaned at the sensation. The feeling of finally being connected again after so long apart.
Edwin started to move, his thrusts deep and powerful. I wrapped my legs around his waist, pulling him closer, needing more. Our mouths met in a searing kiss, swallowing each other’s moans as we moved together.
Soon, the room was filled only with the sounds of our lovemaking-the rhythmic banging of the filing cabinet against the wall, our heavy breathing, the occasional moan that escaped despite our best efforts to stay quiet.
I could feel my climax building all over again, a coiling tension in my lower belly. Edwin must have sensed it too, because he increased his pace, his movements becoming more frantic.
“Come for me, Audrey,” he growled in my ear. “Let go.”
His words were all it took to send me over the edge. As the waves of pleasure crashed over me, I bit down hard on Edwin’s shoulder to mu**e my scream. I tasted the coppery **g of blood, and immediately pulled back, horrified.
“Oh Goddess, Edwin, I’m so sorry,” I gasped, seeing the small puncture wounds my fangs had left.
But Edwin just grinned, his eyes glazed over with pleasure. “Don’t you dare be sorry,” he panted, still pumping himself into me. “I liked it. Your little fangs are cute.” He thrust into me one last time, his body tensing as he found his own release. “Can’t wait to see you in your wolf form someday.”
I felt my face heat up at his words, but there was no time to be bashful-not when he was finally, gloriously, emptying every bit of himself into me. He shuddered and growled in my ear, shivering as I raked my nails across his back.
As we came down from our high, Edwin gently lowered me to the ground, keeping me steady as my legs trembled beneath
me.
“That was…” I trailed off, unable to find the words to describe what had just happened.
Edwin chuckled, pressing a soft kiss to my forehead. “Yeah, it was.”
As we caught our breath, I felt a warm, contented feeling spreading through my body. My wolf, so long silent, was practically purring with satisfaction. To think that I had kept myself from him for two whole months… But not anymore. Never again.
I looked up at Edwin, ready to tease him about his ‘cute fangs’ comment, but the words died on my lips when I saw his expression.
“What’s wrong?” I asked, suddenly worried.
Edwin blinked, shaking his head slightly. “Nothing’s wrong. It’s just… your eyes. They’re glowing brighter than I’ve ever seen them before.”
“What?” I fumbled for my phone, opening the camera to check my reflection. Sure enough, my eyes were glowing a brilliant silver, brighter than I had ever seen them. “Oh, yeah… I guess they are,” I muttered, touching my eyelashes with my pinky.
Edwin reached out and gently traced the skin beneath my eye with his thumb, making me shiver. “It’s beautiful,” he murmured.
We stood there for a moment, lost in each other’s gaze, before the reality of where we were came crashing back. With a start, I began gathering my clothes, quickly dressing as Edwin did the same.
As I buttoned my shirt, my eyes fell on the flash drive we had come here for in the first place. I picked it up, turning to Edwin with a determined look in my eyes.
“Well, now that that’s over… You know what we have to do next.”
