Notice Me Darling! by Cheap Treasure ( Natalie Shepherd ) Chapter 11

Chapter 11 He Is the One Who Does Not Want a Divorce

“Alright,” Henry answered and stood up swiftly.

Just as he took one step forward, he stepped on the necklace.

His gaze darkened upon recalling everything that just happened.

Henry then picked up the necklace swiftly and left the study room.

Once he was downstairs, he passed the necklace to the butler. “Throw this away!”

The butler was stunned. Although he wasn’t able to identify the brand of the necklace, he could still tell it was valuable.

The butler wondered why Henry wanted to dispose of a perfectly fine necklace.

He didn’t understand. Yet, he dared not ask further.

Just as he was about to reach out to take the necklace, Juliet, who was sitting on the couch, spoke up. “Henry, don’t throw it away. If you don’t want the necklace, you could just give it to me.”

As she spoke, she stood up and walked over to Henry.

The butler looked at Henry, hesitating.

He wasn’t sure whether or not he should dispose of the necklace.

Henry stared at the necklace for a brief moment.

Then, he threw the necklace toward Juliet as if it were a piece of trash. “Do whatever you want with it.”

Juliet caught it swiftly. There was a playful glint in her eyes. “Henry, could you help me put it on?”

Upon hearing this, the butler exited the living room discreetly.

Henry didn’t respond to Juliet’s question. He asked calmly, “Why are you here?”

Juliet responded obediently, “I went to look for you in your office, but Mr. Levine said that you may have returned home, so I came to check on you.”

As she finished speaking, she took a glance at her surroundings. There was a visible smile playing on her lips the entire time.

“Henry, I really like the interior of this house. Did you furnish it according to my preferences?”

He had always known her preferences like the back of his hand.

Juliet used to joke about the fact that Henry knew her better than she knew herself.

But one sentence from Henry left her completely stunned.

“Natalie was the one in charge of the interior.”

Juliet was left speechless. She froze on the spot in embarrassment.

It was clear that Henry couldn’t care less about her feelings when he talked to her

now.

Noticing her lack of response, Henry furrowed his brows. “Why are you still here?

Tears welled up in Juliet’s eyes. “Henry, I just have one question for you. Do you …. Do you still have feelings for Natalie?”

This question made Henry’s heart race, but he still maintained his calm demeanor.

“This has nothing to do with you. You should leave now. I don’t have time to entertain you.”

Once he was done speaking, he stood up and added, “And next time, don’t come here.”

Juliet watched as Henry walked upstairs. There was a look of resentment on her face.

She was determined to find a way for Henry to fall back in love with her.

With this in mind, she suddenly collapsed to the ground while clutching her

stomach in pain.

Henry heard the commotion coming from behind him. He stopped in his steps. #

He couldn’t just stand by after seeing Juliet’s condition.

He quickly approached her and asked, “Are you alright?”

“M–My stomach hurts… It hurts so bad.” Juliet’s pitiful expression made her pain look even more convincing. “I–I have some medicine in my bag. Could you please get it for me?”

Throughout the past years, Juliet had been so occupied that she skipped many meals. Therefore, she developed a serious gastric problem. She regularly carried her medication in her bag.

Henry stood back up. He fetched her bag that was placed on the couch. Then, he searched her bag for the medicine.

After taking the medicine, Juliet still didn’t get any better. She said in a weak voice, “Could you… let me rest in one of the rooms upstairs for a while? I still don’t feel too well.”

Henry hesitated for a moment.

Although he no longer saw her in a romantic way, he still considered her as a friend.

At a time like this, he couldn’t refuse her request.

In the end, he called the butler. “Take her to the guest room upstairs.

“Thank you, Henry.” Juliet smiled at Henry.

“Once you’re rested, please leave.”

Henry walked upstairs after he was done speaking. He left Juliet in the butler’s

care.

At Leslie’s residence, Natalie’s morning sickness showed no signs of

improvement.

After returning from lunch, she found herself running to the bathroom to throw everything up.

When she finally made her way out of the bathroom, her legs felt weak.

Suddenly, the sound of a text message notification sounded from her phone on

the table.

Natalie walked toward the table.

The text was from an unknown number.

She opened it without much thought. However, as soon as she read the message, her expression changed.

The sender had attached a few photos to the message.

The pictures were of Juliet lying on her bed in Natalie’s old bedroom at Henry’s residence.

What was even more shocking was the necklace hanging on her neck. It was the

In the photos, Juliet was smiling brightly. She radiated a sense of confidence and pride.

Before Natalie could recover from the shock of the photos, the sender sent

another message.

This time, it was a text.

“Natalie, you’re bringing this upon yourself for not proceeding with the divorce. Soon, I’ll be living here and replacing everything you have.”

Natalie tried her best to remain unbothered by it. But it would be a lie to say that she was completely unaffected by it.

It felt as if someone had stabbed her chest with a dagger. She struggled to take each breath.

To be honest, she really didn’t understand Henry.

On one hand, he was getting cozy with Juliet. On the other hand, he was unwilling to divorce Natalie. What was he thinking?

Moreover, how could he let Juliet sleep on Natalie’s bed when they weren’t even officially divorced yet?

Couldn’t he show her a bit more respect?

Or did he truly believe that she didn’t deserve his respect

Natalie took a few deep breaths. She tried to regain her composure.

Natalie texted back, “If you’re so desperate to become Mrs. Chase, you should be convincing Henry instead of coming to me! He’s the one who doesn’t want at divorce!”

Soon, Juliet received Natalie’s message.

Initially, she had planned to hurt Natalie.

In the end, she ended up hurting her own feelings.

Henry was the one who didn’t want a divorce?

Juliet wondered if Natalie’s position in Henry’s heart was actually superior to hers.

Just as the thought crossed her mind, the door opened.

Henry didn’t expect Juliet to be here.

His gaze darkened. There was a hint of displeasure in his tone. “Who let you in here?”

“Henry, I was looking for you.

Before Juliet could finish her sentence, Henry she door open.

He issued a cold dismissal. “Get out!”

For some reason, seeing another woman in this room made him feel. uncomfortable.

He couldn’t help but curse at himself. Did he subconsciously reserve this room exclusively for Natalie?

Yet, Natalie was set on getting a divorce with him.

As this thought crossed his mind, his expression grew darker.
