Not His Type Of Mate

Lord Maddison's POV

I woke up and looked around me, but the room was strange. It was a place I had never been before, and I wondered where it was that looked like this. I groaned and sat up in bed; my head was aching. What really caught my attention, though, was my body. I wasn't wearing anything; I was completely naked. Under my legs were dried semen. I was confused. What was happening? Or more accurately, what had happened? I placed my hands on my head and tried to remember what happened last night, but all I could recall was taking a drink. Then, I remembered Nora riding me... "Nora, where are you?" I asked as I looked around for her, but she was nowhere to be found.

I wasn't even perceiving her scent, which was strange. Nora wouldn't have sex with me and leave me here like this. She would at least wait for me or wake me up to dress myself, especially when she knew we were in a stranger's house and shouldn't be seen like this. In frustration, I looked around the bed and saw an envelope lying beside me. I picked it up and opened it, hoping for a letter explaining why Nora left me like this without helping me dress up, but what I saw made my mouth hang open and I couldn't close it back. Inside the envelope were pictures of myself having sex with a woman whose face was blurred. I was naked, having sex with the woman! Who was it? The person I remembered having sex with was Nora, but the body in the picture wasn't hers! Doomed! I knew I was done for, and something bad had happened, but how? Why? Who did this to me?! Without being told, I knew the woman was Laura, and that was what shocked me the most. I stood up from the bed, wore my clothes that were thrown on the ground, and ran downstairs to ask her what happened. However, I was surprised to see that no one was there. The living room was empty, with only bottles strewn everywhere. I looked around the house, but there wasn't a single person there, and my heart started racing. It was confusing; the whole thing was like a dream. I tried to steady my breathing, rested against a wall, placed my hands on my chest, and linked my mind to Laura. "Laura, what's going on? What happened?" I should have yelled at her the moment she accepted the connection, but I decided to stay calm and ask her what she was doing first. I needed to know what was happening so I could figure out how to solve it without resorting to violence.

She laughed. "What do you think is happening, my dear Lord Maddison? Did you see those pictures? Were they sweet enough?" She asked me, and my blood boiled. I was irritated, disgusted, and I hated the fact that I was still calm. However, I knew that was the best approach at the moment, so I decided to stay that way. "What do you mean? Have you lost your mind? What was the meaning of those stupid pictures, Laura?" I questioned, and she was silent for a while. "They are only pictures, right? I have videos as well, and I'm going to upload them. I will make the hybrids realize what kind of dirty leader they have, one that's having extramarital affairs." She stopped. I was about to speak when she started talking again. "I will publish them on all platforms and ruin your name." She added, and my eyes widened. I frowned and hit my hand on the wall. What have I done? Why did I trust this girl so much that I even allowed her back into my life?

"Is it money you want? Do you want money, or is there anything else you desire? Laura, you don't have to blackmail me for money. Just name any amount, and I will send it to you right away. You don't need to do this at all. Remember, we've been friends for so long, and you are special to me too." I said to her, and that was the truth. We had been together for so long that she had become like family to me, and I cherished her.

"Special? You just talked about money? To hell with your money! I don't need your money for anything." She replied, and I frowned. "Then, why are you doing this?" I asked, confused. I saw no reason for her to do whatever she was doing to me. "This is to repay you for what you did to me back then. This is like repayment for what you did! Do you think I will forget like that?" She asked, and my eyes twitched. I was even more confused. I couldn't remember doing anything to her before. "What have I done to you that you want to punish me?" I asked.

"That accident. Do you think I've forgiven you? You might have forgotten, but it was the accident we had when you were 17 and I was 15. Do you remember now, or do you want me to go further?" She asked, and my mouth hung open. I was shocked. This accident she was talking about was something that happened years ago that I had forgotten about. It wasn't anything critical, and it wasn't worth enough for me to dwell on it, which made me wonder if Laura had lost her mind. "This accident happened years ago, "Laura. I knew it was my fault, but it was because I was drunk, and nobody died. No casualties, and it wasn't like we lost anything. I apologized. What else do you want from me, Laura?" I asked with frustration in my voice. "That accident ruined my womb!" She shouted, and my eyes widened. "I thought I was okay until I couldn't conceive. I wanted to have a baby, but it wasn't happening, no matter how hard I tried. I did a lot of things, but it wasn't happening until I visited the hospital two years ago, and the doctor asked me if I had once had an accident. I said yes. He told me that the accident had an impact on my womb, and my womb is so damaged that I can never have a baby again. What's funny is that I returned to your life, thinking we were the same, childless, only to find out that you have a son! Fuck! You have a son, Maddison, and I can't have any in my life!" She yelled.

I was speechless. I felt bad, but I had no idea that the minor mistake I thought I made then would have such a huge impact on her. I was shocked. "You... You should have told me. I'm so sorry, Laura. It was an accident." I said to her.

"Accident? And that's why I'm going to ruin you too. I will ruin you completely, and for your information, don't try finding me because I've given the pictures to people, and they will upload them the moment they don't see me. You are ruined, Maddison." She warned, and my heart started racing.

"Please don't do this, Laura. I have a son, and I don't want him to see such a thing about his father. I don't want Nora to see it either. You can do anything else to me, but can you not do this, please?" I pleaded. "Don't, please," I added. "Talk again after you see those pictures and videos on all newspapers and social media," she said to me and with that, she ended the mind link.

I was devastated. I stood there, staring into space, for a while before I decided to return home and explain things before Nora saw the videos. I was lucky enough to find my car keys inside my pocket, so I picked them up and ran out of the house. I entered my car, started the engine, and drove down to my mansion. Upon entering the mansion, the first person I saw was Julius, and he ran to me. "Dad!" He shouted as he hugged me. I hugged him back and kissed his forehead before letting him go. "I had a long night. Allow me to take a bath, and I will return to play with you later," I said to him, and he nodded. I saw my mother, who noticed the look on my face and asked, "Are you okay?" She asked Worriedly. "I'm fine," I said to her and walked past her towards my room. There, I saw Nora sitting on the bed with her legs crossed. She was reading a book and eating popcorn. She raised her head to look at me and waved. "Welcome," she said, then returned to her book. I walked towards her and sat on the edge of the bed. "Nora, the reason I spent the night..." I wanted to explain everything that happened before she saw the news, but she only shook her head, stopping me from talking. "Leave. I'm reading, and I don't think you need to explain anything to me because I'm just your sex mate. We are just friends with benefits. So, don't explain anything to me and just leave," she said coldly, and I felt my heart breaking. I stood up from the bed, glanced at her again, and walked towards the bar. There, I picked up a bottle of wine and a pack of cigarettes before entering the bathroom and sitting in the bathtub. I opened the drink, took a sip, lit the cigarette, and started smoking as I thought about how to solve this whole issue.

I knew I was in deep trouble, and this could ruin me completely if Laura posted it. I was devastated, cornered, and out of solutions. "This is your fault, Maddison, and now, it's over between you and Nora. With this, she will never want to be with you ever again," Darin said to me, and a single tear rolled down my cheek.
