My Bossy CEO Husband by Symon Diller

Chapter 24

“Hi, may | ask for some document on the decoration of high-end buildings?” Rosalynn said politely.
Mary Powell, Giselle’s relative, glanced at Rosalynn and said in an arrogant tone, “I said the same thing to the intern just now.
The document is important. | can’t give it to you unless you have Giselle’s approval.”
Rosalyn snorted. “I see. Do you not want your job here?”
Mary was stunned. “Excuse me?”
“If you don’t want this job, you can always resign at any time,’ Rosalynn added in an indifferent tone.
“Rosalynn, aren’t you just an assistant designer? You think you’re entitled to show that you’re much superior to me?”
Mary’s sharp and loud voice instantly attracted her colleagues’ attention.
Rosalynn didn’t want to waste her time on this woman, so she turned to the personnel officer and said, “Please recruit a new
clerk. The records room is understaffed, and it doesn’t function properly.”
“What do you mean? There are three clerks in here. You’re saying that they’re not enough?”
The personnel officer didn’t seem to figure out what Rosalynn was hinting on.
“This employee is unqualified. If she can’t do her job properly, then she should be dismissed, right?”
Rosalynn glanced at Mary, making it clear that she was the one she was talking about.

“Unqualified? Why? Did she do anything wrong?”
“She didn’t do anything. That’s the problem. She doesn’t know how to obey orders.”
Mary’s expression changed. “Rosalynn, you are taking this too far. You are just an assistant!
Do you think you’re in the position to fire me? Who do you think you are?”
Rosalynn was about to say something when a cold male voice beat her to it.
“Since she’s the in charge of this project, she has the final say. She doesn’t need to seek permission from anyone if she needs a
document.”
Seeing that Brian suddenly stepped in, everyone fell silent.
Brian’s sharp eyes swept across the crowd and eventually fell on Rosalynn’s face. Then, he uttered, “Go on.”
On the other hand, Rosalynn didn’t appreciate his help at all. She was sure that she could handle the situation by herself.
Besides, he was the reason that people were making things difficult for her. If it weren’t for him, she would only be concentrating
on design drawings.
