Jack was wrapped up in bandages and placed in the Zimmer family's hall.

All the core family members of the Zimmer family werd present.

Klein Zimmer sat in the family's head seat with a stormy face.

"What happened?" he asked coldly as his gaze swept over every member of the Zimmer family.

The Zimmer family members were silent. No one dared to say anything.

"Hmph!" Klein slammed his hand down on the side table, and it shattered to pieces.

The members of the Zimmer family were terrified.

Klein looked at one particular person with a cold glare and asked in an equally cold voice, "Jack is your son. Are you going to tell me you don't know what happened?" Felix Zimmer, Jack's father, trembled.

"This is all Simone Langley's fault!" he hissed. "We were just doing business, and businessmen prioritize profit above all. The Langley Group offered a lower price for our materials compared to the Wyatt family, so there's nothing wrong with us choosing to work together with them!

"But Simone was resentful about it and brought someone with her to meet Jack. That's how he got injured!"

Klein's anger exploded at that.

"Simone Langley, you arrogant brat!

"Do whatever it takes to bring that woman here. We'll see whether she's really as good as she thinks she is!" Klein ordered. "She hurt my grandson, and I'm going to make her pay, no matter who she is!"

"Understood." The other family members quickly agreed.

"The audacity that you have!"

Suddenly, a cold voice came from the hall.

"Hmm?" Klein raised his eyebrows, and his face darkened,

"Who are you? Show yourself!" he demanded.

Soon, two young men walked in.

Klein stared at them coldly.

"Who are you? How dare you come here without permission?!" he snapped.

""Dustin Fox."

"Drake."

The Zimmer family members grew agitated.

"Dad, that's Dustin Fox! He's the one who hurt Jack!" Felix shouted.

A murderous glare shone in Klein's eyes.

This man had hurt his grandson and had the guts to march in like he owned the place?

Did he have a death wish?

"Ha! Such arrogance!" Klein sneered and gestured for the Zimmer family members to not do anything just

yet..

He wanted to see what tricks these two could pull.

"You hurt my grandson and still have the guts to come here?" He glared at Dustin.

"Why w

wouldn't I dare?" Dustin retorted and continued coldly, "Jack had ill intentions toward Simone. I was being nice by not killing him right there."

"What did you say, you b*stard?!" The Zimmer family members were furious and glared at him. It was as if they wanted to skin Dustin and Drake alive. Klein's eyes narrowed.

This was the first time he had seen such an arrogant person.

Over the years, no one had ever dared to act so boldly before him.

"Dustin Fox, is it? I'll remember your name. Why are you here?" Klein asked icily.

"I'm here to give you a warning: stop acting like puppets for someone else, and stop being so stupid that you can't tell just who is in control of the situation. If you choose the wrong path, you will be destroyed!" Dustin said indifferently. Klein's face darkened,

"I see. Thank you for the warning." He nodded but said coldly, "No, you die!"

There was no way he would let go of someone who hurt his grandson.
