Chapter 130

David agreed to the Langley family's request.

He had always valued family ties. Since Margot had personally come over to apologize to him and even offered him to work at the Langley Group and Heavenly Will Bazaar, he was given respect and honor, so he was not going to refuse.

Thus, David and his family returned to the Langley family and became a part of the family with the highest status. They had authority and respect.

On that very same day, the Serpentine Gang members left the bazaar. The Rivenesco government official also sent word to let the Langley family's businesses run again. Things were back on track.

This made the Langley family even more certain that David and his family had a lot of influence and plenty of connections. They did not dare to treat them with disrespect anymore.

That was what Dustin wanted.

Honestly, he only spared them because David cared about his family so much. Otherwise, given Dustin's nature, he would much rather destroy the main family entirely and have David and his family take over the Langley family for themselves in Rivenesco. That night, Simone asked Dustin out for a movie and dinner.

Once they finished watching the movie, they went to a restaurant for dinner.

"Dustin, I know that you're the reason for their sudden change in attitude," said Simone.

Dustin just smiled and said nothing.

He knew that he would not be able to keep this a secret from Simone.

"Thank you. If it weren't for you, our family wouldn't be enjoying its current glory," said Simone gratefully.

If it were not for Dustin, her family would have been ruined long ago when the loan sharks from the Serpentine Gang came after them.

"You said it yourself. We're a family. You don't thank your own family for doing what is right for them, do you?"

Dustin

Simone smiled back.

"Sometimes, I get really curious. How powerful are you? How high is your social standing?" Simone asked.

"I can't tell you some things for now. Once the time is right, I'll tell you everything," Dustin said with a smile.

He had far too many secrets. He had yet to seek vengeance against unknown and powerful enemies. The fewer secrets Simone and her family were aware of, the better. He did not want them to worry too much.

When he left the secret room of the Wyatt family, he had mobilized all of Hell Hall to look into the Fox family tragedy. Once he knew the outcome, he would strike at lightning speed.

"Álright. I won't ask, then." Simone did not press him further. She trusted Dustin.

"I'm going to the washroom." She got up and left.

Dustin took a sip of water. Someone suddenly ran into the restaurant in panic. He then ran straight to Dustin.

The person was Christian.

"Bad news, Dustin! I saw someone kidnap Simone! They went that way! You have to let your guard go after her!" Dustin frowned.

He narrowed his eyes, and a Hell Guard showed up beside him. After a brief glance at Dustin, he immediately ran in the direction Christian had pointed.

When he saw the Hell Guard leave, Christian grinned.

"Well, then. What do you want?" Dustin asked indifferently.

"What do I want?" Christian's face twisted. "I want to beat you up, of course!"

With a shout from Christian, a group of fierce-looking individuals suddenly stormed into the restaurant.

They swiftly took control of the restaurant and surrounded Dustin.

"Dustin, you think you can do whatever you want because of that guard of yours. Since he's not here now, you're nothing now. I can kill you with just a wave of my hand!" Christian growled.

He had been waiting for this moment for a very long time.

Finally, he could take Dustin down.

Dustin's face remained unchanged. He did not even look at the fierce individuals.

These nobodies could terrify the common people, but they were nothing before him.

"Are you doing this willingly, or were you ordered to do so?" Dustin asked.

Christian's face froze for a moment before he narrowed his eyes. He sneered. "I don't mind telling you.

"This is not just Grandma's will. Everyone in the Langley family wants this!

"They want me to make you disappear from Rivenesco!"

Dustin snorted.

Had the Langley family not learned their lesson yet? Or did they just refuse to give up on their greed?

"You don't need to guess. I'll tell you openly. The Langley family believes your presence hinders our development," Christian said. "You're unworthy of Simone, considering your lowly status. If she marries someone from a powerful family, our family will rise to the next level!"

Dustin's face turned as dark as a thundercloud.

He knew it! They had not given up on their greed.

Old habits died hard, after all.

"It's about time we take you away now." Christian sneered, "Don't worry. I won't let you die so soon. I'm going to take you out of the city and make you suffer. You'll die in despair, and I'll destroy your corpse. David and his family will never find any clues! "Do it!" he shouted.

The thugs around him immediately swung their bats at Dustin.

Boom!

With a loud bang, wood chips flew everywhere. The thugs were thrown back, and they screamed in pain.

Christian's face darkened, and he waved his hand.

The people charged toward Dustin with the intention to overwhelm him with their number.

With an indifferent face, Dustin swung his arms a little, and a whirlwind stirred around him. All those who approached him were thrown back and crashed onto the floor.

Christian was stunned.

He had thought that once Dustin's Hell Guard was lured away, he could torment Dustin however he liked.

But he had been too optimistic. He did not know that Dustin was actually strong.

Dustin was like an untouchable god who was not to be provoked. No one could touch him, and all those who dared get close to him were hurt.

No one could stop him, much less catch him.

Just like that, Dustin walked over to Christian. Christian was so terrified that he trembled in fear.

It was only at this point that he realized Dustin was much more terrifying than his Hell Guard.

"Stop him!" he cried out in panic.

But it was useless. Even if the thugs around them charged toward Dustin nonstop, none of their attacks would work.

In the blink of an eye, Dustin arrived in front of Christian.

"I remember telling you that if you disrespect me again, I'll break your legs." Dustin's voice was so icy that

• Christian felt a chill crawl down his spine.

"You called David by his name again, didn't you?" Dustin said as he looked at Christian's legs.

Christian trembled and could not stop himself from stepping back. "If you hurt me, the Langley family won't forgive you!"

Dustin ignored him. His glare turned menacing.

With a swift movement, it was over in an instant.

"Ahhh!!!"

Christian screamed in pain as he clutched his leg and fell to the ground in agony.

Dustin had broken his legs...
