Chapter 88
Chapter 88
Nora yelled anxiously, but there was no response from inside. When she was about to throw her caution away and break in, the door to another private room opened suddenly.
Out came a charming man. He wore a black shirt, open at the collar.
He narrowed his eyes and stared at Nora, asking, “Who did you call just now?”
His imposing presence intimidated Nora, who quickly answered, “Giselle. She’s my colleague.”
“Giselle Ostry? Right?”
“Yes!” Nora’s eyes lit up. “Do you know her? She’s inside, but this guy won’t let me in…”
The young man who blocked Nora warned coldly, “It has nothing to do with you. Go away!”
“It has nothing to do with me?” The man had a deep smile on the corner of his mouth. “The thing I hate to hear the most in my life is that it has nothing
to do with me…”
In a blink of an eye, he went up to the man and said calmly, “Open the door.”
“What does it have to do with you…”
But before he finished speaking, the man suddenly gripped his neck with one hand and knocked him hard against the wall, saying, “Open the door!”
The sudden ruthless tone scared the young man, and Nora took this opportunity to push open the door.
When she entered the room, she let out a sigh of relief. Thankfully, Giselle was safe and sound.
Frank was tied to a chair tightly with bruises on his face in the private room.
He was gagged with a wet tissue that he wiped his hand with and gave a muffled sound. He wriggled his chubby body and couldn’t say anything.
Giselle said with mockery in her eyes, “I have met a lot of people who tried to take advantage of me in the past few years, and none of them ended well…
I will strip you naked and take a few photos of you later. If you dare to cause trouble for me, I’ll reveal them to the public.”
Giselle had been disturbed by her beauty since childhood.
At that time, she was even surrounded by hooligans on the way home.
Nowadays, being beautiful was sometimes an advantage but huge harm sometimes.
If a beautiful woman wasn’t able to protect herself, her beauty would turn into a dagger stabbing at herself.
Therefore, Giselle had learnt boxing since junior high school. No one would put on guard against her. When the men tried to take advantage of her, they would be punished.
Nora rushed into the private room and said, “It’s great that you’re fine! I was worried about you…”
“I’m fine.” Giselle turned her head calmly and saw the man entering the room. She paused and said in surprise, “Mr. Parks?”
Andy tossed away the young man who was beaten up by him and entered the private room, saying warmly, “Ms. Ostry, we meet again. What a coincidence.”
“It’s a coincidence. So what happened just now?”
Nora replied, “This gentleman helped me!”
“Thank you, Mr. Parks.”

“Don’t mention it. I should help you. If anything bad happens to you here, I’ll…” Andy trailed off and gave a meaningful smile.
“It’s good that you’re fine.” Andy looked at the man tied up by Giselle and shook his head, saying, “What a good for nothing.”
Giselle didn’t have time to exchange pleasantries with him for the time being and said to Frank, “I wanted to talk to you politely, but you try to offend me, so I can only resort to this method. Mr. Palmer, shall we talk about it politely or talk like this?”
Andy didn’t expect that the woman Hymes kept as a delicate flower was actually a ferocious woman.
He was amused and quickly sent a message to Hymes.
[If you rush over now, you will see a good show]
Hymes replied ruthlessly. [What does your good show have to do with me?]
Are you sure you don’t want to come and see it? The heroine of the show is your sweetheart.]
Right after he sent the text message, Hymes called Andy and said, “What are you talking about?”
Andy lowered his voice and said quietly, “A blind man is coveting your sweetheart. What shall I do?”
Andy didn’t expect such a coincidence. He came here to have dinner with his client, but he ran across Giselle in the restaurant.
The most important thing was… Andy was very curious about what would happen to this big fat man.
After the wet tissue was removed from his mouth, Frank shouted abuses, “How dare you treat me like this? Do you think you can afford to offend me?
TIL”
Before he finished speaking, Giselle thrust the wet tissue into his mouth and said, “Since you don’t want to have a good talk with me, I’ll call the police.”
Hearing that Giselle threatened to call the police, Frank shuddered with fright.
When Hymes arrived, Giselle was negotiating with Frank. Her request was very simple. They would resume their cooperation resumed, and she would forgive him for what he had done today.
Frank didn’t want to agree, but he hesitated to refuse because he was in a weak position.
When Hymes entered the private room, Andy looked at him with amusement in his eyes.
His sudden arrival surprised Giselle, who said, “Why are you…”
Hymes didn’t say a word with a sullen face. He didn’t speak to Giselle and went straight to Frank. Following that….
He raised his long and strong leg and kicked Frank hard, who fell to the ground and started to growl in pain.
Hymes stooped and hit Frank with a fist as hard as steel. “You dared to touch my woman?”
When Giselle saw that Hymes hit Frank hard, she wanted to pull him away, but Andy stopped her and said, “It’s okay. If we don’t teach him a lesson, he will do this again in the future.”
“But…”
Andy said casually, “Don’t worry, Ms. Ostry. Even if Hymes breaks his legs, no one will know about this with me around.”
Andy intended to cover for his friend, lest Giselle would discover Hymes‘ real identity.
Giselle found Andy arrogant and confident.
Andy was completely different from those rich young men like Rey. He seemed to be in the same league as Hymes.
They concealed their real sharpness and didn’t show it easily to anyone else.
Giselle had no choice but to give up.
Fortunately, Hymes knew what he was doing. Before Frank died, Hymes withdrew his fists with a cold smile.
“Hymes, enough.”
Giselle stretched out her hand and grabbed Hymes‘ arm, pulling him up to her with undisguised concern. “Come on. Stop it. He has learned his lesson.”
Hymes looked ferocious. He took a tissue from the table and wiped his hands slowly, whispering to Giselle, “Didn’t I tell you to call me when you get in trouble? Why didn’t you tell me anything?”
Seeing that he was blaming her, Giselle hurriedly explained, “I didn’t have time to do that. I planned to tell you after I solve it.”
Hymes‘ said gloomily. “What if you can’t solve it?” !
