After saving those, Giselle felt that her words were a little too pessimistic. 

Since they were married. Giselle should also believe Hymes would respect their marriage 

Seeing Hymes darkened expression, Giselle reached out and tugged his sleeve as Hymes seemed annoyed by her previous 

words.

If only Giselle could ignore that the diamond ring cost around 20,000, it would put her mind at ease when she wore it 

Besides, Hymes had already taken the initiative, so it did not feel right if Giselle did not put in

The good thing was now Giselle was still doing very well in her current position as a manager, Giselle was very satisfied with 

her life now. 

Going to work on Monday was always torture, and Giselle got out of bed with much difficulty. When Giselle saw Hymes. making breakfast in the kitchen, she subconsciously asked, “Why are you so energetic at all times?” 

It seemed that Giselle had never once seen Hymnes looked tired. Hymes was always able to maintain such a good state of living anywhere and at any time. 

“I’m used to that.” Hymes smiled, “I used to get up at 5 o’clock daily and survived through the day on unsweetened black coffee until night.” 

Giselle sympathized with Hymes as she never knew that being an insurance salesman was so tough. 

Just that… Hymes was referring to the time when he first took over the Pino Capital. Now, Hymes no longer needed to work so intensely as he did not need to prove himself to anyone anymore. That Hymes relied on his family’s glory and shelter to get where he is today. 

“Won’t you get sleepy at all?” As someone who relied on lots of sleep, Giselle could not imagine how she would get through the day without enough sleep.

Hymes finished cutting the sandwich, poured some milk into a cup, and placed it on the table.

The public would never know what kind of responsibilities the heir of the Giles family was carrying and how much pressure Hymes was under. 

Giselle was slightly worried, “What about now? Are you still suffering from insomnia?” 

The corner of Hymes‘ lips lifted into a faint smile, “Not anymore.” 

Giselle sighed in relief, “That’s great. If you still have insomnia, I thought I could…” 

“You could do what?” 

“Nothing. Since you’re fine now, there’s no need for me to help you.” 

After finishing breakfast, they headed out, and Hymes accompanied Giselle to the subway station. Hymes watched Giselle’s figure disappear into the gate completely before turning around and getting into a luxurious, black car on the side of the road. 

Most of the surrounding cars tried to avoid them, so the journey to the company was unobstructed and smooth. 

Leo noticed the subtle expression on Hymes‘ face and asked in a whisper, “Mr. Giles, you seem to be in a good mood today?” 

Hymes smiled and pretended to straighten his tie unconsciously. 

The ring on Hymes‘ hand was a male model, but it was also embedded with a small diamond. 

Thus, when Hymes raised his hand, the dazzling shine from the ring almost blinded Leo’s eyes. 

Leo rubbed his eyes, immediately understood Hymes‘ hint, and said, “You’re wearing a wedding ring. Did Madam buy it for you?”

Hymes looked calm and self–collective, yet his voice harbored an unconsciously bragging tone, “She bought this ring secretly for me without letting me know.” 

“Madam has great taste, and this wedding ring looks great on you!” 

Hymes did not reply, which indirectly agreed with Leo’s compliment. 

Although Hymes‘ cold and stern facial features always portrayed himself as someone not to be messed with, today, Hymes faint smile softened his usual strong aura around himself. 

And no longer made someone frightened or nervous upon seeing Hymes. 

When Hymes arrived at the company, instead of walking his usual route from the underground parking lot straight to his office, Hymes instructed the driver to park in front of the Pino Capital building for once. 

Hymes strode in with confidence and a strong and compelling aura. 

All the employees immediately shifted to the side and greeted Ilymes respectfully, “Mr. Giles, good morning!” 

“Good morning, Mr. Giles!” 

“Great day, Mr. Giles!” 

Hymes nodded faintly in acknowledgment, and walked past his employees‘ cautious gazes before entering the elevator. 

While the crowd breathed a sigh of relief, they also noticed differences. 

“Did you guys notice… that Mr. Giles is wearing a wedding ring on his left ring finger?” 

“Yes. That’s the spot where one wore the ring when they were married!” 

“Maybe Mr. Giles just wear it casually, stop overthinking…” 

“But Mr. Giles never wear a ring before… Today, when he suddenly, wore a diamond ring, something strange must be going 

on!” 

In the end, all the discussion and chattering could not come out with a definite answer. 

Leo accompanied Hymes into the elevator, and observed closely. Even though they did not exchange a single word, Leo knew what he needed to do in this upcoming period. 

When Leo exited Hymes‘ office after reporting the daily work arrangement and schedule, he bumped into the secretary from another office. 

The other party held onto a document and readily asked 

for specific details, “Mr. Mint, as for this document…” 

Leo suddenly interrupted, “What? How did you know that Mr. Giles is married?” 

The other party was puzzled by the sudden randomness. 

“Mr. Giles told me not to tell anyone.” Leo spoke seriously. “But since you aren’t someone else, just keep it a secret, all right?” 

The other party was speechless.
