Her skin felt cool and delicate to the touch, and the words “smooth and fair” came to his mind as he savored the feeling. 

Releasing her hand as if he had touched something d*rty, he spoke with a stiff expression. “No one would want to touch a shameless and unscrupulous woman like you! I’m just trying to warn you… 

Sienna left as soon as she regained her freedom, not wasting her breath on him. 

Matthias stood there, at a loss, watching Sienna hurry away without even sparing him a second glance. The rest of his sentence got stuck in his throat, 

An inexplicable restlessness stirred within him, and the feeling of losing control grew stronger. “Matthias, have you fallen for Sienna?” Loretta looked at him and probed. If you like her, you should pursue her, or she might fall for someone else.” 

Matthias‘ face darkened. “Who said I’ve fallen for her? I just can’t stand her presumptuous attitude, that’s all. The mere thought of her makes me sick!” 

Matthias tried to convince himself. Yes, I’m disgusted by her. The thought of Kayden and that love bite on Sienna’s n*eck makes me feel nauseous. That woman claimed she’d love me forever, but as soon as we got divorced, she hooked up with someone else! How shameless can she be? I would never fall in love with such a repulsive woman. 

Loretta finally felt relieved when she saw the disgust on his face. 

Luckily, Matthias still hated Sienna. 

Sienna rushed out of the auction house, but as expected, the tall figure had already disappeared. 

Kaylee asked around but couldn’t gather any information. The staff only mentioned that they couldn’t disclose anything due to client confidentiality. 

“Ms. Ainsworth, do you want me to send more men to gather more information? We can find out more since we know where the manor is.” 

Sienna thought for a moment and said, “Go ahead and do so. I want to know why that person spent so much money on the manor. Anything else doesn’t matter; I’m just afraid they might damage the house.” 

At that moment, a black sedan slowly drove past Sienna’s Porsche. 

“Mr. Callan, your father is urging you to come home again. He said if you don’t visit him soon, he’ll disown you.” 

The man hummed softly in response. “Yeah, it’s about time I paid a visit.”
