Married by Accident, Taming the Billionaire

Chapter 390

Chapter 390 She Finally Returns for Revenge
Carol was livid. Her vision blackened, her head spun, and she felt a surge of blood rise to her chest.
(The sound of spitting out blood)
She spat out a mouthful of blood, on the verge of fainting.
“Grandma!”
“Mom! Mom...”
Chris and his wife, Dana, quickly held Carol. There was a bit of chaos as the family members from Carol’s side surrounded
her.
Seeing that Cecelia had angered her grandmother to such a state, Mizey couldn’t help but curse, “Cecelia, you have such a
cruel heart! Are you trying to anger my grandma to death?”
“Cousin, you’re being too dramatic. Why would I ever wish for that? Since aunt seems unwell, maybe you should take her to
rest. I can handle the proceedings from here.”
This was exactly the situation Cecelia was hoping for!
Mizey couldn’t stand Cecelia’s disruptions. She exclaimed, “Grandfather, can’t you see what kind of occasion this is? How
can you let her continue like this? Look at the state she’s put Grandma in!”
The surrounding guests were all whispering among themselves. Alfred glanced at Carol, who was on the verge of fainting,
and instructed, “Take her away quickly!”
“Dad...” Chris interjected, “Are you truly planning on marrying that woman?”
With things having progressed to this point and all the guests present, and Anisa being alive and having entered The Songo
family, as well as Alfred having acknowledged his son, if he didn’t accept Anisa, it might tarnish his reputation in society.
“Don’t be insolent! From today onwards, you should address her as your ‘Fourth Mother’.”
Alfred firmly hit the ground with his cane, displaying his authority, apparently acknowledging Anisa’s status in public.
Seeing his father acting so obstinate and enchanted, Chris could only leave in frustration and help his mother back to her
room.
After the main family members of Carol left, Alfred approached Anisa.
She looked at him, tears filling her eyes. “Alfred...”
“Anisa, I’m so sorry. I had no idea you were still alive... I’ve wronged you...”
The two finally held hands. Years of suppressed emotions overwhelmed Anisa, and she couldn’t hold back her tears.
“Come, let’s go home.”
Alfred tried to help her up, but she was unable to stand.
“Father, let me assist.”
Benson pushed a wheelchair forward and gently placed his mother onto it.

Only then did Alfred realize that Anisa had been paralyzed for years, and his guilt deepened.
As she sat in the wheelchair, pushed by her son into the main hall of The Songo family, she finally “walked” into the Songo
family, tears of relief streaming down her face.
When she was young, she was a simple-minded woman with dreams of singing. It was until she met Alfred that her life took a
different turn.
She became pregnant and could have been married into the Songo family, but Carol intervened and privately humiliated her.
Later, someone was hired to brutally harm her, leading her to fall from being a popular singer to a life of darkness.
After enduring years of hardship and living in hiding, she had finally returned for revenge!
Cecelia addressed everyone, “Honored guests, thank you for staying. Now, please witness once again for my great-uncle
and my fourth great-aunt. I declare the wedding begins!”
The pre-arranged master of ceremonies and team sprang into action at Cecelia’s command.
A classical and unique wedding ceremony commenced in the main hall.
All the guests present were in for a surprise. They came to celebrate an old man’s birthday feast, but who would’ve expected
him to also get married?
Marrying for the fourth time at the age of eighty-eight was indeed a rare occurrence.
Everyone praised Alfred’s rejuvenation in love. None of the family members of the first wife could stop the wedding. No one
from the second or third wife intervened either, so the wedding was successfully completed.
After the wedding, the guests gradually left, leaving only the Songo family behind.
“Congratulations to my great-uncle and fourth great-aunt. Now that the wedding has taken place, should we also arrange a
place for the fourth great-aunt to stay?”
Cecelia asked Alfred with a smile.
“Of course! We currently have an empty room in the southern wing of the house. Anisa can stay there.”
After Alfred finished speaking, he called housekeeper Johnson to arrange it. Cecelia spoke again, “Great-uncle, I think
there’s no need for the hassle. There’s an available room right next to yours.
I remember that room once belonged to my second great-aunt. It’s right across from your room.
Why not let the fourth great-aunt stay there? It would be convenient for both of you, don’t you think?”
Alfred hadn’t anticipated Cecelia’s suggestion. Letting Anisa live nearby would surely lead to confrontations with Carol.
“Well... That used to be your second great-aunt’s old residence. I’m afraid Anisa might mind...”
In reality, Alfred was trying to avoid trouble. He knew how much Carol disliked Anisa. If she were to live nearby, he
anticipated daily quarrels.
“I don’t mind.”
Anisa replied with a gentle smile.

“Since the fourth great-aunt doesn’t mind, let it be. Johnson, please prepare that room for my fourth great-aunt.”
“Alright, I’ll be right there.”
Johnson glanced at Alfred, seeing no specific instructions from him, so he went to make the arrangements.
Alfred looked at Anisa, then turned to Benson. “We will arrange for you to stay in the southern wing. How does that sound,
Benson?”
“No need, Father. I have a place outside. Just accommodate my mother here.”
Alfred nodded in agreement, settling the matter. He probably never imagined that what started as a gesture to acknowledge
his son at the birthday feast would end up with him getting married.
It was all arranged by Cecelia, leaving him speechless.
Soon after, Johnson returned to report that the room was tidied up and everything was in order for occupancy.
“I’ll take my mother there!”
Benson pushed the wheelchair, followed by Alfred, with Cecelia also accompanying them to check the room.
Meanwhile, back in the main residence, Chris called the family doctor to check on Carol.
“Madam Nelson has suffered from a severe emotional shock. She needs to rest and recuperate, and she shouldn’t be
subjected to any more stress.” The doctor advised after examining her and then left.
After a short rest, Carol regained her composure and woke up.
“Mom, how do you feel?” Chris asked, holding her hand.
“Ah...” Carol sighed deeply. Dana also expressed concern. “Mom, are you okay? If not, we should take you to the hospital.”
Carol shook her head, and then asked, “Where is that woman? What’s going on now?”
Neither Chris nor the others dared to tell her the truth. “Mother, don’t worry about it. You are the mistress of the Songo family.
What does that woman count for?”
“Yes, Mom. Don’t let someone like her affect your health.”
“Exactly, Grandma. It’s all Cecelia’s doing. She’s intentionally trying to disrupt our family. We can’t fall into her trap!” Mizey
exclaimed angrily.
At that moment, a noise from outside caught their attention. Carol asked in astonishment, “What’s that noise?”
None of them knew the source of the sound, and everyone hurried out to see.
