LUNA: The Invisible Princess

Chapter 7: Enchant Academy (Part 1)

[Luna]

Today is the start of classes. Ereia and I were currently traveling to the academy where we will be attending. The Enchant Academy. Ereia already finished enrolling and I will enroll later. The entire ride, I was just looking out of the car window. We have already passed by the houses and only tall trees are in view. It took two hours to drive until we arrived at school. The school is comprehensive but the school in Moondrous World was much bigger. But this school is more enchanted by its name.

We got out of the car and walked towards the gate. There are also students coming in at the same time. When we entered, I wandered my gaze around while smiling. The school is beautiful. Most of the students were looking at us and talking about me as the new girl. However, I just ignored their stares and smiled at them.

“Here we are,” Ereia said when we stopped in front of a mahogany wooden door. 'Headmaster's Office' was written above the door. Ereia knocked and the door automatically opened, then Ereia pulled me inside.

"Good morning, HM Gray." Ereia greeted the man sitting in the swivel chair.

"Good morning, Ereia." he welcomes and his gaze travels to me. “Is this the new girl?” he asked.

"Yes, HM," Ereia replied, and looked at me.

I cleared my throat and said, “Hi, HM Gray, my name is Luna Syesha McCleen.”

"Hi, Luna. Welcome to Enchant Academy. I’m Headmaster Gray Laurel. So, what is your ability?" he said.

"Hm, I am an ice manipulator." I answered shortly. As Ereia and I agreed earlier, no one should know that I am an elemental user because everyone will doubt my identity. Because only the princess of Enchantreia possessed the elemental ability of this world. Well, it's not a big deal for me.

"Ice manipulator?" he confirmed, and I nodded. "Ok. Kindly fill up this form and here's your dorm number and class section. Your uniform is already in your room." he said and handed me a piece of paper and an envelope with my dorm number and key, and the name of my section.

After I filled out the paper he gave me, I gave it back to him and he dismissed us. Then Ereia and I made our way to our dorm. It turns out Ereia and I are roommates, which is a good thing because I don't want to adjust again.

As we walked, the students were still talking about me. Ereia told me to just ignore them. When we got to our dorm room, I was in awe. I didn't think that the room was big. Ereia's room has a green door and mine is gold, but I replaced it with silver, of course, using my ability. Ereia didn't notice it.

Headmaster was right because my uniform was already in the cabinet. It is a plain pink long-sleeved shirt with a gray sleeveless blazer and a gray necktie with the logo of the academy. The pleated gray skirt with white lining was short. It's only half of my legs which makes me uncomfortable. And it's paired with white knee-length socks and black shoes.

When I got out of my room, Ereia greeted me happily. “You look pretty in that uniform!” she said.

Ereia's uniform differs from mine. Her uniform is a black and red checkered long-sleeve layer with a black sleeveless blazer with a checkered necktie with the logo of the academy. Her pleated black skirt with a red and white lining at the hem of the skirt was shorter than mine. It's almost the same as my uniform and the only difference is the color. But I like Ereia's uniform.

“I like your uniform, Ere. It suits you!” I said, and she smiled widely.

We left the dorm in a hurry because it was almost time for the first period. Ereia and I are not in the same class. Since I'm a new student, I am still in the beginners’ section and Ereia is in the supreme section. Ereia took me to my section first because I didn't know where it was.

"This is your section. I'll pick you up later, so wait for me, okay? Let's have lunch together." She said while smiling and hugged me first before waving goodbye.

When I entered the classroom, too much noise greeted me. I looked in the front and noticed the absence of the teacher. I looked around for a vacant seat. The entire room suddenly fell silent, and I wondered why. They were all looking at me in awe. I saw an empty seat in the last row, so I went there and sat down. Just as I was sitting down, the teacher came.

"Good morning, class."

"Good morning, Mistress Vega." Everyone greeted the teacher.

As the teacher settled on her desk, she turned to look at me. "You have a new classmate today. Miss McCleen, can you stand up and introduce yourself to everyone?" she said, and I nodded.

I stood up and said, "Hi, I'm Luna Syesha McCleen, an Ice manipulator." Everyone welcomed me and I just smiled faintly.

"Hi Luna, I'm Eris Logan." The student next to me introduced herself and I smiled back at her as I sat down.

The class started, and it was so boring because I already knew what the teacher was teaching.

When the bell rang, I sighed in relief. Finally! Geez, I'm so hungry! I got up and left the room quickly. But my shoulder fell in dismay when I couldn't spot Ereia. I have no choice but to wait for her.

"Luna!" I smiled when I heard Ereia's voice, who was waving while walking toward me. The students looked at us and whispers filled the hallway.

"Ere!" I said enthusiastically. The blabbers became louder.

"Does Ereia know her?"

"Who is she? She's the new girl, right? How did she meet Ereia?"

"I heard Luna is her name."

"In fairness, she is beautiful, like a goddess."

Ereia pulled me in a hug and then clung to my arm while we walked away towards the cafeteria.

"How's your class?" she asked.

"It's ok. It's boring." I snorted, and she laughed. She pinched my cheek as she giggled, and I pouted.

When we arrived at the cafeteria, everyone was looking at us and started whispering, but they didn't dare approach Ereia. I wonder why. But I really hate attention. Really.

We walked toward the counter and ordered food. "What do you want to order, Luna?" Ereia said. I looked at the menu and smiled from ear to ear.

"Hmm, 2 cups of rice, 2 pcs. Fried chicken, 2 slices of pizza, 2 slices of chocolate cake, 1 glass of orange juice, and 1 mango shake." I smiled at her, and her eyes widened. She looked stunned.

"Can you eat it all?" She said.

"Of course! Geez, I'm so hungry, you know?" She just laughed at me and ordered it, anyway.

Afterward, we brought our order. Using Ereia's power, she created a big floating leaf and placed our orders there, then flew it towards the empty table she saw. As we sat down, I immediately munched my pizza. I'm not obviously hungry, am I?

"What?" I asked after I ate the slice of pizza. Ereia still didn't touch her food and just looked at me in awe. She realized she was staring at me and suddenly smiled.

"Nothing," she said and laughed, then started eating. I shrugged my shoulders and continued eating.

"Ereia!"

Someone called Ereia and when I turned to look at my back. I saw a group of five students with the same uniform as Ereia, three boys and two girls, who were now walking toward us.

"Ereia, why didn't you wait for us?! We were looking for you." the blonde boy with blue highlights said. A surprise looked on their faces upon seeing me. Then they sat in the empty seats.

"Who is she, Ereia?" the blonde girl with baby blue highlights asked while smiling at me with her eyes sparkling like she saw pretty things.

"Ah guys, this is Luna and Luna they are... my friends," Ereia said.

I smiled at them and said, "Hi, everyone..."

I frowned when they were all stunned while staring at me in awe. Is there a problem? Why is it that every time I smile, people get stunned? Tsk. I ignored them and continued eating.
